I've been with Milli Bank quite a few… I've been with Milli Bank quite a few months, with their Savings APY. I've also signed up with many other financial/bank websites, that have high APY's in Savings and CD's, because it's just common sense and financially suavy to take advantage, while the interest rate is up. Just recently, I had a situation, that would take too long to explain in detail here, but nevertheless, my situation was that my cell phone got turned off, and I had to go buy another phone right away. My next situation was that I really wanted to keep my old telephone number, and use it on the new phone, but that wasn't happening. . If someone only knew..... Why I had to get a replacement phone, right away, was because of the number of Savings accounts (CD's, bonds, treasuries, etc) I have online. Practically every one of them, and most online savers will know this, is that you can sign into all of them, with a Username, or an Email address, and Password and that alone, won't get you into your savings account. I don't know when this began, but there's another step you MUST do, to get into your account. It's a phone verification, where they send/text you a code to your phone, and you place the code into the boxes provided. Now, for any one saver out there reading this, for heavens sake, don't EVER change your telephone number, at the start, in the middle, or the end of like, something important. You'll have to give up your first-born, if you just want a tel number change on your profile!! I'm serious! (She's losing it, Captain, but she can't lose what you never had in the first place)! lol... Lord knows, I wouldn't have EVER thought it could be SO BAD! I mean, I understand security, but seriously, a tel number change?? And so Milli Bank was my first shock of the day, because remember, you cannot get into your account, without them sending you a code to your phone, that you must copy to their site. So when I said to myself, "Well self, your not going into your account, no way, no how, EVER, until you call them, and tell them that you have a new telephone, with a new number, I'd thought it'd be the simplest thing in the world to do. OH NOOO! They want your morgage papers, or a rent receipt, a copy of your phone records, copy of your driver license (of course), a copy of a utility bill, bank records (ok, I didn't really see that last one!), and I'm like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME"? To change my phone number in my profile?? I've been in shock all day! So, needless to say, I wrote back (very upset), and told them, all I could give them, was a copy of my drivers license, because I just live here, basically like a roommate. The man of the house pays the bills online, he doesn't get any paper bills, and there's nothing with my name on it, excep But no, like I said, be prepared to give up your first born child! So I wrote them back, and told them, what I've said here, and I'm waiting on a reply. I still am in shock! I told this man, what this bank wanted, and he had a few words about it too. The last thing I wrote in my reply to them, was that they have the name of my bank, with the account number, and if perhaps, that would suffice (which I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't), would they send my small amount of funds I had in there (a number under 200), to my bank, and close my account. This is just plain ridiculous! I've been thinking about the whole situation all day, and I'm wondering, why they couldn't they get any and all information like that, when an idividual signs up?? That makes perfect sense, to do that, that way, instead of shocking someone over just wanting a telephone number change? I've got a phobia now. Anytime someone mentions the word "Security" around me, they'll be looking at me, and wonder if I need some water, or a hospital! I'm just trying to settle my brain down now, and I can almost see everyone thinking that I'm over-reacting to a simple situation, and maybe I am, but, everyone with any common sense ...this is going overboard in a major way! So, today, as I wanted to update this tel number change, to all my accounts, I went down my list of online savings accounts that I have (Milli being next to the first one), and it took me most of the day, of writing emails, and making phone calls, to get my number changed, on 9 out of 10 of them. And almost all of them, have that third step (besides putting email address, and password in), of sending a code to my phone, to get in my account. That verification code is a pain in the butt!!

Denied Again First application denied with no explanation. Online complaint conversation with agent yielded a second look at application. Denied again with no explanation other than credit score (mine is 800) or ChexSystems was not a factor. So what is? I would be very wary of this bank. No problems at any other banks I have . Received a reply from Milli bank 2 months later apologizing for my experience. Still with no reason for denial, suggestion to re apply or anything useful. Still a 1 star rating.

Very Suspicious of this “bank” Was denied a savings account which is laughable, but looks like I dodged a bullet anyway after reading these reviews. Update: Opened a high yield savings account with Capital One earning 4.35% no fees, no minimum!

Give and 30 days and you will love it! Be patient. It is worth the 5.5% interest rate. I transferred money from another bank to Milli. I saw the money "leave" my bank account but it wasn't in my Milli account. Of course I was nervous, I reached out to Milli customer service- immediately they told me expect 10 day transfer period. And as mentioned in other reviews it did take 10 days for my money to "show up" on the Milli app. But once it I could see it- I relaxed. I've been with Milli for 3 months and I love seeing the "free" (5.50%) interest being added into my account every month. I have used an ATM, purchased items online, and transferred money out of Milli to another bank without problems. The money I transferred to another bank from Milli was available the following day. Customer service has been great and earning 5.5% interest is awesome.

You all do realize that Milli Bank is… You all do realize that Milli Bank is just part of a bank in Omaha right? Completely legit but they have stringent qualification rules for their highest interest bearing accounts. I have had an excellent experience, completely easy enrollment and communication. Best high yield savings account out there!
