Missing communication resulted in extra fees Unclear requirements although the regulator is pretty clear on what’s needed. An uncommunicated delay in bank holidays made them charge me for additional 1000 DKK. They are also a bit more expensive than competitors

Do not use covercy Do not use covercy. Use Transferwise Its a much better service. I have used covercy for several transactions. Every time I transfer money with convercy they give me a hard time. No other money transfer service, banks or otherwise in the world, gives such a hard time and I use many other services without hassle. Even when you answer all their questions, they still delay transfer. Their service has damaged my business, causing delays and costing valuable time and money. My accountant warned me not to use this service again and I didn't listen. My mistake.Their obsession in protecting themselves with the authorities, is totally exagerated and arrogant, and beyond all legal requirements of any other bank or transfer service. It is a total invasion of privacy and extremely humiliating. I personally will never use convercy again and I strongly recommend everyone not to use this service. This message will be going up on every social media site I can possible find. 👎1 out of 5 stars

Stay away part 2 Covercy answer to my 1st review is not satisfactory. Indeed I was not the client but "only" the recipient of the funds. I was raising a general question on their FB page and they are refusing to answer which is a strong sign of none-transparency policy. Please be aware that the transfer was made on 7 days old conversation rate which gave the company a very high profit. Convery is refusing to admit their wrong doing and all of you should pay attention to the differences of the published rates and actual transfers. What is the point to publish low fees if they are making huge profits on conversion rates. I expect Covercy to answer to the point and let the community know how will they fix this issue. All the best.

Cheaper but much more complicated than the bank This was the first time I used a money transfer service other than a bank. Covercy initial service was very welcoming and friendly, until it got to the point they asked for "additional documents", I never encountered such an interrogation when I transferred money through the bank. Covercy claimed it is what is required by thr authorities, but the banks are subject to the same regulations and never aaked for so many details and forced my to submit sensitive personal information and contracts to allow the transfer. I'm not sure the slightly lower rate worth the extra strain related with their process.

unclear of what documents they need unclear of what documents they need, a lot of email ping-pong, huge uncertainty of what is the status of the transfer and when you'll see it on the other end. Support team tells you something is missing only after you contact them to ask about the progress, causing the loss of business days without you money in you hands (but in theirs) - happened to me twice in the exact transfer details.
