ILCheaper but much more complicated than the bank This was the first time I used a money transfer service other than a bank. Covercy initial service was very welcoming and friendly, until it got to the point they asked for "additional documents", I never encountered such an interrogation when I transferred money through the bank. Covercy claimed it is what is required by thr authorities, but the banks are subject to the same regulations and never aaked for so many details and forced my to submit sensitive personal information and contracts to allow the transfer. I'm not sure the slightly lower rate worth the extra strain related with their process.

ILTerrible service I had a small problem, I just had to know how to issue some document they requested. I tried to contact their customer service to get some help, then my awful experience began. The service was terrible. They were completely unreachable on phone (why do you publish a number if no one is there to answer?) I couldn't get a simple explanation for how to solve the problem, the answers I've finally managed to get was completely incorrect and actually was contradicting each other. No one bothered to explain what happens next and for a long time, I couldn't even know that my money is safe! The issue was finally solved only after I contacted my broker that happened to know someone that works there. No need to mention that no compensation was given. This was some minor issue that only makes me think, what if it was a bigger one? what if I didn't have this kind of personal connection?

ILDishonest Dishonest. They give you one rate, and then let you know that it didn’t go in, and charge you a higher rate later on. Unprofessional, a money making scheme. Stay away.

NOStay away part 2 Covercy answer to my 1st review is not satisfactory. Indeed I was not the client but "only" the recipient of the funds. I was raising a general question on their FB page and they are refusing to answer which is a strong sign of none-transparency policy. Please be aware that the transfer was made on 7 days old conversation rate which gave the company a very high profit. Convery is refusing to admit their wrong doing and all of you should pay attention to the differences of the published rates and actual transfers. What is the point to publish low fees if they are making huge profits on conversion rates. I expect Covercy to answer to the point and let the community know how will they fix this issue. All the best.
