It's OK but verification processes are nightmare-ish. This exchange has a lot of altcoins and has been around for some years. It's decent and fairly safe. It's just an unbelievable hassle to get KYC-verified and if you are a bigger crypto player, they will ask an insane amount of information like proof of source of funds etc. Takes a LOT of time and trial and error to go through this process. For small holders, this is a good exchange.

If something goes wrong If something goes wrong, like example you send it to an account that was yours, but got changed by bittrex, even though they control the private key they will do nothing to help you and return your coins. The worst scam sites don't even do that. I am very dissatisfied with their services. I think actually they are not doing so well financially. If they collapse, you lose your money regardless, look at cryptopia, same will happen with bittrex if I look how unfriendly they are.
