They really take the stress off my shoulders by contacting creditors and making settlement offers on my behalf. Before anything gets finalized, they text or email me directly to be sure I agree with a simple yes or no. Know all the costs of the program before committing. Liberty is only an umbrella company. There is a legal firm, Paramount; a legal liaison, Veritas; and a bank, Forth. One would think they would communicate about your case. They don't. Several times I had to send paperwork in. I later learned that I should have sent it to Paramount and Veritas. Veritas has a monthly fee. In my case $50 something. Never used them and they never represented me. Paramount was quick to settle 2 of my 3 enrolled accounts. The third went to court without Paramount representation. It was embarrassing and public humiliating. My credit score obviously dropped in the program. The whole court suit was an emotional cost I was reassured would not accrue.
