Amex approval via Nova for Canadian I moved to US and had 10 years of credit history and an excellent credit score (820). Sadly in US no one really cares about the Canadian history and I applied few times and no luck. I was withAmerican Express in Canada but since I have not used My Amex there that much, I could not ask Amex for Global card transfer. I applied through Nova and finally got approved by Amex. Although the credit limit was quite low (1000 $ only) and compared to what I had in Canada Looks like a joke but at least a start. Thanks Nova for facilitating it!

Complete Joke I supplied a physical copy of my 1099 to verify my income. They then sent me an email requesting that I grant them full and unlimited access to my checking account to verify my income. What a joke. Are these people nuts? First of all, they don’t need access to my checking account to verify my income. I already gave them the physical copy of my annual 1099R.

I used this,service to obtain a US … I used this,service to obtain a US American express card. A card was issued as I have a great credit rating in Canada. Subsequently American express. Cancelled the card for no apparent reason . And followed up with requests for income statements and tax returns from Canada. I had assumed that this,service would have prevented that hassle.

A great business idea A great business idea The process in getting your Nova Credit score and applying for a US credit card was really straight forward and easy to follow. It's a really great idea and acknowledges responsible credit users who have been living overseas. What's stopping me from giving 5 stars is that I wish it was more widely recognized, at the moment it's a very useful tool for building American credit but it would be even better if you could use it instead of an American credit score.

Worst experience ever with Nova Credit Worst experience ever with Nova Credit. Their "partners" wouldn't even use Nova Credit report to help with my finance. Westlake Financial said they saw no credit history on my profile and they could not use Nova Credit. They asked my dealership to pull my Nova Credit which is funny because how could the dealership have access to Nova Credit? Don't believe the bells and whistles from Nova Credit and they will only ruin your US Credit history if you trust them and go ahead with them. Their support team is hopeless. I did 3 enquiries and the only thing I got was the "we will get back to you within 1-2 business days" and they never got back to me!!!
