Thankfully Thankfully, I didn't have "an experience". The trip went as smoothly as I can remember and jet lag is already pretty much history.

The Fayr customer service team was able to tell us how to make that happen safely and as securely as possible, given that we disembarked in an undeveloped, emerging country. Always be ready Always be ready. Have a back-up. Call your credit companies let them know where you are traveling so there are no issues and take two credit cards. Tokyo is a world class city, but there are language issues so make sure you have an app on your smartphone to act as an interpreter if needed. The intercity train system is flawless. It does take a day or two to be totally familiar.
