Better premiums; Not very responsive On the good side, the rates were better than my existing carrier for my 6 rental properties. On the downside, they overpromise and underdeliver on service. I told the agent that placed the policies that I was changing largely because of the lack of responsiveness of my existing agent. No complaints about the carrier. However, when I followed up a quote for an umbrella policy, I didn't hear back for days. It was time-sensitive since it was a companion policy to the rentals. I finally called after three unresponded to emails. Apparently, the original agent is no longer with the company. When I told the new agent about it, she just said to call if I don't hear back in response to an email. I said I expected to hear some response to an email by the next business day, she said that's not going to happen but I can always call. Disappointed that the service just starts out with nothing better than we may respond to your emails, and we may not.

As soon as I got my inspection report, he called me and set things in motion and I had a new policy within hours. He also walked me through the policy to make sure my concerns were addressed. Your best option for vacant property insurance I worked with shamika for a period of 9 months insuring two vacant properties as I made a complex move and prepped my old house for rental. Other agencies quoted me vacant property policies for over 2k. This category of insurance is poorly served by larger companies and steadily and shamika knew how to support it. Shamika got me a policy for well under 1k with analogous coverage. Shamika moved fast and was accessible, responsive, and empathetic. Highly recommend.

Quick and Easy I haven't actually needed to use this insurance yet, but signing up was fantastic. Nearly everything in the process could be handled online or through text message, which was convenient for my schedule, and the person I worked with was both knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to secure an insurance policy that was right for me in a very short timeframe, much faster than with other companies, and the policy seems to be very well priced for everything that's offered.

I would much rather deal with Amanda then Rob Worthington. This guy reminds me of Columbo with a chip on his shoulders. He treated us like we were children & thought himself to be holier than thou.
