Trip Insurance and Heymondo We recently had to use the trip insurance that came with our Heymondo policy. There was a hitch or two, but ultimately, the insurance company paid our claim. We really appreciated was the way the Heymondo team came to our assistance during this process. We have already contracted with Heymondo for insurance to cover two more trips!

Good experience with customer service and app I have contracted Heymondo travel insurance twice, luckily I haven't had to make a claim so far. However, the experience with customer service has been excellent. I am planning to travel again soon and have questions to in order to choose the best option for me. Diana has been answering them so kindly and patiently. She is helpful and professional. I like Heymondo website, simple and clear, and the coverage and prices are competent. The app is very handy. Not reimbursed. Read Heymondo fine print. My flight was cancelled the day before my flight. I had to buy a different ticket with another airline at the last minute. They said it was more than 24-hours before my flight so they didn’t provide financial compensation between the two flights. The sad thing is, it was 20-hours before the flight should have left, but it was delayed 8-hours before it was cancelled. They did nothing but tell me to go back to the original airline for compensation. They responded quickly, which is why 2-stars. Don’t expect much, and there is so much fine print to read.
