In the past few years, as my age approached and then collided with the number 81, I've become more and more despairing of being able to travel safely, with a good medical travel insurance plan to back me up. With each passing year there seem to be fewer and fewer plans for elderly travelers that are both affordable and generous in their coverage. This year after searching for a medical plan on-line for two days with no luck, I remembered that a year ago I had found Insubuy after a similarly depressing search. Back then, I'd suffered through several confusing onversations with different insurance agents before ending up paying Insubuy for a plan that was a bit more (in benefits and price) than I needed. Still, I had been grateful to find any reasonable plan at all. So today I called Insubuy again, fully expecting the usual confusing conversation.... But instead I got Kati... the total opposite of confusing. Kati very quickly understood what I needed. She was patient and relaxed, but at the same time careful and attentive to detail. She encouraged questions, and was exceptionally clear in her explainations of complex insurance issues. Unlike many on-line sales people that I've encountered, she took the time to verify that I truly understood her clarifications, and did not fail, before finishing, to verify that the coverage I was buying would meet my needs. Amazingly she was able to save me money by pointing out an alternative insurance plan that was less expensive, allowed more flexiblity and was just a little better than the one that we had started off discussing. I think that from now on, when my elderly friends are discussing some dismal article in the news about the rising cost of medical travel insurance, and the decreasing range of benefits, I'll tell them how my experience with Kati and Insubuy has given me hope that I'll be able to continue safely traveling without having to go through a confusing and disheartening insurance search every year. CASuch easy reliable online service which… Such easy reliable online service which I use for some time, 3 days to 35 days, each snowbird season in Florida. I add on needed days to my Canadian Group Insurance which covers the first 60 days of my travel medical needs. Typically I am in Florida for two months in the fall return to Canada for Christmas and then back to Florida early January for 3 to 3.5 months. Today I added 31 days of insurance for only $6.88 per day. You simply can't beat that price, and I was all done totally online, in 15 minutes.

GBPurchasing was instant & detailed explanation Purchasing was instant. Comparing btw policies came handy. Surprisingly, they got detailed explanations on technical terms which normally we don't see in many sites or had to google about them or read through plan documents in tiny letters.
