It does take quite a bit of work to obtain an itemized invoice from your service providers but once you do, Sidecar Health makes it super easy to upload your documents and they'll take care fo the rest for you. After we've submitted our documents, sometimes we're left with credits on our plan that leave us paying less which is great! And their customer service is awesome and always available!

I think Sidecar is great I think Sidecar is great. You can customize your plan to fit your budget. They send reminders to submit your invoices, which is very helpful. Everything is pretty straightforward and easy to understand. You can even change or cancel your plan at any time, so there is no long-term commitment required. I truly recommend it to anybody I know who is uninsured and looking for affordable options.

The Website has been easy to use. And both the chat feature and calling the help phone number has yielded immediate assistance. So far I have cut my prescription drug costs in half by using RX gold. I pay $10 per month for the service, but it cut my costs so much that even factoring in that cost I will probably cut my out of pocket costs by 2/3 at the end of 1 year.

Way better than my employer given plan Highly recommend this company! I have had insurance with leading commercial companies and though it was employer paid, it was and HMO with high deductible. I went part time, 24 hours a week and become ineligible. I also run my own business and came upon Sidecar while searching for an answer. The marketplace options were absurd for what they offered. I am so glad I lost my other coverage, this is so much better!

I never get sick however, the first month I signed up I had an ear infection due to a cold and found a telemedicine site cheaper than the benefit amount listed on estimated care. I attached my invoices and I then received a credit towards my premium for next month. No other INS company has ever done that. Very pleasant and easy experience and I am so happy I found Side Car for my family. We pay for what we need instead of giving away our money to regular insurance companies. Thanks Side Car!
