Two months later we received a check for our total medical bills minus the $250 deductible. The claim was approved after appeal I had an accident with my motorcycle, and first Safetywing rejected my claim because I could not prove I was wearing a helmet. They kept asking for a rescue report that did not exist. This caused me much anxiety and stress. Even sending a picture of my damaged helmet did not help. But then on appeal the decision was overturned, and I received the money for the claim a couple of days later. I must confess I did not expect them to overturn the decision, and I was very surprised the claim was approved. This restores some of my faith in Safetywing, and I will probably use them again on my next travel.
