Would give zero stars if I could Would give zero stars if I could! Had a trip to Norway planned and couldn’t make it due to a sudden illness. Submitted all the necessary paperwork (also used AIG insurance for the hotels and Generali to cover the flights). This was in January. It is now almost May and out of the two flight claims I made, Generali has paid HALF of my cheapest claim and has closed the other, more expensive claim with no explanation as to why. I spent a total of over $1200 on these flights and have only received back $172 from Generali!! And I might add that I spent over $1000 on the hotel rooms insured through AIG and was paid back in full in less than a month FOR THE SAME TRIP with my insurance through AIG. Generali is a complete scam! Do yourself a favor and use AIG not Generali!! Also take note of how you CANNOT leave a review for Generali on their website! Tried to find where I could leave an honest review and couldn’t find it so they have a glowing 4.8 star rating while being a scam.

Travel insurance couldn’t been more… Travel insurance couldn’t been more easy to get than Generali. Just answer the easy questions and click on the coverage plan you like. Prices were cheaper than other companies that I looked into. I always choose Generali whenever I need travel insurance.

One month processing I bought Generali insurance offered through flight network... I have a month tomorrow since I submit a claim and nothing happened.Years ago I had a claim with other insurer and they processed in less than a week directly PayPal...well day 31 they processed more likely due to this review.

The online chat bot simply directed us to the site we were trying to access And no, they don’t have anyone to call. Hopefully they actually pay off on the claim but that is generali yet to be seen.
