I was surprised at the claim forms request for medical documentation. We submitted the Dr’s report with the five page forms and were reimbursed for our trip. I really appreciated the way I was able to track our claim on line and receiving updates via email and text messages.

I had expected a struggle… but satisfied with results I had expected a struggle… but the process was fairly simple and we got our full reimbursement owed us after we had to cancel our Viking Cruise for medical reasons. We were very thorough in submitting all paperwork, receipts and medical documentation, and the customer service at Viking helped to explain also.Would use Trip Mate again for future travel.

My refund was issued quickly and I even got the cancelation fee refunded. I only paid for the cheaper insurance so I wasn't sure if the cancelation fee would be refunded.

The process was a little lengthy but we got 100% reimbursed for our new flights, the cabs we wound up taking, and the hotel that we wound up having to rent as well. So thankful we purchased the travel protection or we would have been out quite a bit of money. You do have to really pay attention when doing the claim. Somehow I missed the section for flight reimbursement and wound up filing a 2nd claim. When I called to figure out what I did, they were very helpful!
