We have been to many Sandals Resorts and every time I book a trip I always buy the trip insurance wondering if I am wasting our money! I did not. Due to illness we were not able to travel. The representative at Sandals walked us through the forms we needed to fill out and we got our money back. Thanks Trip Mate and Sandals

USI missed my flight due to a flare up of… I missed my flight due to a flare up of an old injury. I was devastated as this trip was my first trip since COVID. I am so glad I purchased travel insurance with Trip Mate! Easy claim process, great customer service AND I received a full refund! Will definitely use this service again.

USTotal RIP.OFF It was my fault for not reading the fine print. I cancelled a cruise well beyond the 120 day window. Tripmate was not involved in that refund in any way. Tripmate fees are non refundable even if you are not making a claim for refund through them. This is a RIP OFF!

USNo Reimbursement for Covered Expenses My husband had an accident in Prague. Trip Mate claimed they'd pay for everything since Medicare does not pay medical expenses outside of the USA. Trip Mate did pay for some of his medical expenses, but anything--hospital deposit, ambulance, initial doctor expenses, my hotel room while he was hospitalized--I paid with my credit card, Those expenses were never reimbursed me. I filed the claim documents, including support documentation, 4 times. Even though initially, I mailed it in, they claimed they could not read it. So, I sent them electronic copies. Twice when I checked on the claim status, it showed the claim was closed for lack of information. Each time I called, they claimed they would open up the claim again. It's been almost a year since his accident, and I'm giving up trying to get reimbursed. So, beware, if you pay any medical expenses with your credit card, it's doubtful you'll be reimbursed.

USClaim submission behind the times! The filing of a claim on line and then having to print out to sign the form, is so inconvient as a printer is required. Electronic signature is possible as well as submission of claims electronically. Submission of the claims, all paper copies, have to be scanned in the system at Tripmate. My claim was paid at least 3 weeks from submission to payment. Communication as per the status of the claim was Incomplete. Texts via phone occurred one time only. Email communication was nonexistent.
