GBHorrible Customer Service, Refuse to Pay a Cut And Dry Case After a package was missing for 6 weeks, they still refused to pay out the policy, saying the package was not guaranteed to be lost. Only paid out after I contacted the BBB, then sent me a letter saying they would no longer insure me! This is after filing my first claim and mailing hundreds of packages with their insurance.

GBPointless "Insurance" After using PirateShip and Shipsurance for about a year, Shipsurance has decided to DROP our company for having the nerve to file a claim for a package that arrived damaged. They SEEMED like a better option in comparison with lower rates. Bear in mind, we've only had ONE prior claim, making this the second. (which I'm not expecting) I guess this company only works if you are lucky enough to never have missing or damaged packages. It is beyond pointless to buy insurance when the insurer will just drop you for using the service. We would recommend anyone not to pay for this sub-par service. EDIT: After talking to Shipsurance, they just reiterated that they will no longer support us. Their response is a joke.

GBGrateful for Shipsurance I’ve come to greatly appreciate Shipsurance. Easy to make a claim and share with the customer to confirm, and payments come quickly with just a few easy-to-find attachments and no back and forth hassles.

TWEverything that is wrong with insurance companies They epitomize everything that is wrong with insurance companies. They are such a gross and unethical company and will find any tiny loophole to weasel out of paying a claim. For example, if a customer discards some foam packing material after unboxing and then notices damage later on, that is deemed to be grounds for closure of the claim. This is after you spend days providing more information to them using their archaic web portal. Furthermore, you have no chance to appeal or resolve it, their decisions are final.

GBFrustrating company to deal with Frustrating company to deal with. Often they ask for the very same information that has already been provided. Sometimes the accept the document we provided, other times they say they need a different document. Not sure why the same document is OK in some instances but not in others. Delays in their responses to us cause delays in processing claims. These delays frustrate our customers. Emails come without a name from the person emailing, meaning we have no idea who is involved with our communications. Tons of room for improvement.
