The rates were unreasonably high, so I decided not to purchase a policy. However, I soon realized that OTTO was nothing but a scam. The first red flag was when I started receiving calls and emails from other insurance companies. These companies were all offering me lower rates than OTTO. I realized that OTTO had sold my information to these companies. I tried to contact OTTO to request that they stop contacting me, but they were unresponsive. I eventually had to block their email address and phone number. I would strongly recommend that you avoid OTTO Insurance. They are a scam company that will sell your information to other companies.

Very deceptive advertising..... Saw and ad on YouTube advertising a "New" Insurance company that was offering lower rates in my area. So, of course I clicked the add and put my info in. Because it's about time there was a "New" insurance company. But no... All they did was sell my info to every insurance company with 50 miles of me. And I was inundated with calls and text for over a week from all the "not New" insurance companies that have already ripped me off for years and every one of them quoted me double what I'm paying right now for insurance.

Scam Used their quote website, never got a call for insurance but instead now get dozens of spam text messages and calls daily now. They definitely sell your personal information to scammers or their system is compromised.
