NIG Weasels out of Covid related Claims Disgusting company who has denied paying out business interruption claims by saying when the policy was written, Covid didn't exist. The Supreme Court just ruled that these claims should be paid out, but as NIG was not part of the list of insurers being taken to court by the FCA, their judgment did not apply to NIDG customers. Shameful. In a world where there is no shame left.

Paid for insurance in one payment, 2 month later they decided to cancel it without valid reason, and refunded 1/3 of the sum. Avoid avoid avoid.... It's not service and you are not treated like a customer They take nearly an hour to answer the phone. Ridiculous. Tried 5 times over 2 weeks. They write to you but never reply by email or post. When I finally got through to someone, the staff-member was so rude and spoke to me as if I was a criminal. Not a customer paying £1400 a year for an insurance policy. I would say terrible customer service but there is no service and you are not treated like a customer. Never again.

Nothing but theifs Agreed to start a fleet cover for our vehicles, once they had taken two payments they cancelled our insurance, claiming the business wasn’t past the 2year old requirement. This was never asked before agreeing to the quote and we was never made aware that this was a requirement beforehand. I will be contacting the ombudsman and trading standards.
