GBRUN FAST To make a long story short RUN & I do mean FAST...they refused to come out to investigate my claim the adjuster even told me if I don't with draw mt claim they would raise my rate and then drop me while will be hard ro me to get home owners insurance or it would b extremely expensive...I got scared and dropped my claim. Then...I reopened my claim a lead person over there name Lisa told the electrician to preserve my property and send in pictures and all receipts now they will not pay the claim.eveything they asked for I provided...if what I needed done if they didn't cover it all they had to do was tell me. The adjuster never returned my calls nor did the supervisor. Then they said ok we will pay for the damages I questioned the deductible because my claim had been going on since September 2023 and now we are in the moth of November...they called back and said NO so I just said ok well I guess I'm stuck but the electrician will at lease get his money his bill was $8,050.00 they said we are not paying that either...how do we start a class action lawsuit. I now have a bill for $8,050.00 that they told him if he fix it they will THEY LIED

GBWorse home insurance company! Worse home insurance company! They paid $ 3000 for my total loss of personal property from Hurricane Michael and said they were not paying any more. I have fought them for 5 years.

GBTHE AGGRAVATION FOR THE REASON OF YOUR CLAIM IS NOT AS BAD AS DEALING WITH UNIVERSAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE!!! I had a flooding at the end of August this year. They said a check was cut on September 7th. I am still waiting for it. Three months without kitchen cabinets, and the unit below totally thrashed is not as bad as dealing with this company which will bring a substantial amount of aggravation during the process that will make think that your incident it was not that bad after all. Terrible communications, procrastinators, (they even sent the adjuster exactly 7 days after the incident! I could have had everything fixed in 7 days!). I owned my first property at 21, I am 65, I have dealt with several insurance companies during 44 yrs., this is one of the worse I ever seen. The BBB publishes 153 reviews (154 with mine). NONE IS GOOD. NOT A SINGLE ONE. THE HAVE A ROCK SOLID 1 (one ) STAR....that's telling you something.

GBIf I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! This company is by far the worst company to work with in regards to a claim. They take their time, low ball you and then force you to sign for a final settlement WITHOUT them providing you a breakdown of what they are paying. It has been MONTHs and we are still waiting. TAKE MY ADVICE - get another company for your homeowners insurance.

GBThis company's practices in settling… This company's practices in settling claims is criminal. I lost an entire condo of furniture, cabinets, bathroom vanities, carpet, etc due to water damage and mold and they paid 40,000 against coverage of 200,000. Mediation a joke. Going to court. Do not rely in this company for your home owners insurance.
