They have a minimum $$ yearly premium ... they will charge you the difference if its below the min Had a policy for a year for a VERY small business. I was quoted around $50 a month, with an audit at the end. The $50, varied by actual payroll. I ended up paying around $15 a month - which was great. We went out of business and I cancelled the policy. The FINAL AUDIT came through, saying that there were minimum $$ requirements. The min per year was $488 (something like that) and I owed the difference. Not a lot of money but still, no one ever mentioned there was a minimum. I had to have a rep on the line to pay the balance due as I couldn't pay it online, nor through their automated system since the policy was cancelled already.

AmTrust Europe have taken over £266… Update: 19th Feb - Still awaiting a response. AmTrust Europe have taken over £266 from my bank over the past 12 months for an insurance policy I no longer require. I have attempted to reach out to them via the Contact Us form on their website (with the type selected as Complaint) but received no reply. I have called their office number and was told to email AmTrust Accounts, I received an auto response stating they'd be in touch in 2 working days but they haven't. Really poor customer service, I highly recommend you stay away.

Not even worth a star ! Not even worth a star !! I purchased Unoccupied Insurance with this company via a broker . They would only agree to a minimum 6 month policy and lump sum payment only. Policy was in force just 31 days and the residual refund from a £225 premium was just £151.23. Absolutely scandalous. To add insult to injury I was told by my broker that the refund can take up to 31 days ro reach my credit card . When I clicked on the "Customer Service" link on my policy document I managed to latch on to a "jobs worth" adviser, the amazing Rory who said he couldn't help me as he only dealt with claims and refused to pursue my request to another arm of his company who may have been able to help, but was happy to bat me back to the broker (Onebroker.co.uk) who in turn blamed the insurance company for their administrative policies. I eventually got a the refund via their broker 17 days after my final email and 23 days after I cancelled the policy. Not even a covering letter, apology . My advice, read these reviews, avoid this company. even if their premium is competitive, the mark of the company is their customer service and in this company its not existent.

Avoid this company at all costs Avoid this company! I made a simple insurance claim for storm damage over three months ago, and they have still not even processed the paperwork. Every time I ring they say they have a backlog of claims to get through and that they will prioritise my claim - this is to fob me off, because nothing ever happens. The original water damage has now worsened because of their unwillingness to deal with my claim. I am frustrated and angry, and will have to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman as a last resort.

Greedy and useless. Good luck getting ahold of them Been trying to get ahold of them for months to cash a claim over a failed property construction. Literally, they just ignore you. No answer at all despite of several emails and phone calls. They are not helpful at all. When asked questions about the documents, they just answer like robots. They are making it very difficult to claim our money. They will Try to make you exhausted of their procedures and requests and give up...
