Excellent service through a difficult time… We were going through a difficult time with my father in law in rehab and then long term care. I was guided through the entire process and given advice on strategies to get my father in law the financial assistance that he needed to maintain his long-term care. Everyone was very helpful but our medicaid specialists was helpful and responsive on every step of the way.

Money well spent Eldercare Resource Planning were able to get both of my parents quickly transitioned from private pay to Medicaid pending when their Medicare coverage ran out at their skilled nursing facility. They stayed on their case for for five months, working with the local county social worker to get them fully qualified under Medi-Cal with the correct share of cost. They were even able to get their Medi-Cal coverage back dated to the first day of loss of Medicare coverage, which was a huge financial relief, saving my family more than double the cost of ECR's fees just for that one decision alone. Initially I was skeptical of their flat-fee and promise to not stop working until my parents were fully covered, but that's exactly what they did. There were no surprise charges and they stayed fully engaged, quickly responding to emails and phone calls, and making themselves available for phone consultation whenever I needed it. I can't recommend them enough. Save yourself the trouble of trying to do this on your own. These guys are the pros and their fee is totally worth it.

Salesmen overstated their experience… Salesmen overstated their experience for the State of Hawaii. After many conversations, we asked how many cases they handled in Hawaii; they worked less than 10. Not impressed and we lost confidence in the group.

They are knowledgeable and dedicated When I contacted this company, I was frustrated and hopeless. I was trying to get some help under "Spousal Impoverishment Protection" for taking care of my husband who has Alzheimer. I applied through Covered California and the case was submitted to the County but it was denied twice. This company fought for me and proved my eligibility. I have recommended them to the daycare that my husband attends in case someone else needs help.

They did what they said they would do. Made no false promises and were truthful throughout our dealings. From start of Mom's application (from one state to another) to finish, Eldercare was top notch. We had a productive prescreen call. They guided us through the initial application process & then through acceptance. In between we had a change of plans from home care to facility care & they guided us through that process as well. We called on them a few times after Mom had gotten into her care facility & even after Mom passed. They were always patient, considerate & always followed up as they said. Highly recommend their service. They are what they say, & more!
