GBI was in debt to them because of… I was in debt to them because of recent, tragic, unexpected circumstances which caused me financial hardship until i found a job. The lady I spoke to Astrid, I hope I spelt her name correctly, was very understanding, empathetic and helpful and professional. Then Charles who took my payment was very nice and professional too.

GBI’m literally afraid of this card The card doesn’t seem to be worth the trouble. After listening to the automated system go over my terms THREE TIMES because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I thrice confirmed that not only is the annual fee $99 on top of the $89 processing fee, but once you hit your second year there is a MONTHLY $99 maintenance fee?? lol. No. I’m coming out of a fresh bankruptcy so I got this card to help put positive things on my credit profile. In no way, shape or form is $99 a month a reasonable maintenance fee for literally anything. I’ve already paid the $89, so I’m going to use it for a couple of my subscriptions like Hulu. After I add the card to auto billing I am going to physically SHRED THIS CARD TO PIECES. Once the 11th month rolls around I am cancelling this card so hard. By then I should have an increase in credit limit and enough on-time payments from this and a few other cards I got to apply for a more reasonable card. Do NOT get this card unless you absolutely have to and even then, use it wisely. Don’t use this like a regular card. Get something small with it each month and pretend it doest exist. This is the type of card that is basically built to put you deeper in the hole. They are not here to help you, they do not care about you, they are here to take the most advantage of you and “fee” you to death. Do not run a up a balance on this card. Good luck!
