unique opportunities but high fees EquityZen introduced us to another entity that allowed us to succesfully invest in a pre-IPO company. It would not otherwise have been possible to make that investment. We are happy with our investment, but I do feel that the only work that Equityzen did was to introduce an interested buyer to an interested seller, and for that their 5% fee is very high.

Exceptional EquityZen I went to EquityZen with no idea of the process and a very short timeline to sell my shares. The advisor was very, very helpful in explaining the process and ensuring that I was able to make informed decisions that were in my interest.

EquityZen without asking or informing… EquityZen without asking or informing me sold my investment and bought some other investment for 50% loss and then again liquidated the new investment for 20% of the price, in net i lost 80% of my investment. This is a huge loss for me and will never trust not only EquityZen but also any other private investments. There was no transparency and I am highly suspicious with what happened. Highly recommend to stay away from this company

I would have liked to have had a better… I would have liked to have had a better way to contact EquityZen than by email alone. Especially when those emails either go unanswered or have a delayed response time. When you invest over $80,000, you don't expect to be given the bum's rush when you have a question. That's why I have subsequently opened an account with LINQTO and plan to give them first consideration for my next venture-type investment.
