GBunique opportunities but high fees EquityZen introduced us to another entity that allowed us to succesfully invest in a pre-IPO company. It would not otherwise have been possible to make that investment. We are happy with our investment, but I do feel that the only work that Equityzen did was to introduce an interested buyer to an interested seller, and for that their 5% fee is very high.

GBMy money distribution for exited deals has not been sent yet My money distribution for exited portfolio all the way back from 2021 i still pending. Several attempts to contact anyone or someone at equityzen has been in vain. I am left with no choice but explore legal or federal government options. Please DONOT invest with EquityZen!!!

GBI'm quite new to the private equity… I'm quite new to the private equity market. EquityZen and their team was very helpful and responsive to all my e-mails I sent. They took the time to help me readjust some of my investments in a timely manner.

SGGood support and selection Easy to work with. Great customer support. Good selection - got into Palantir in 2017 and Anduril in 2023. Decent valuations. Never able to get us SpaceX though, but everyone has wanted in it for at least a decade and it's super hard to get.

AUGood platform, but joining in frequent tender offers. It is a good platform and has many merits. My concern is that fund managers tend to join tender offers rather than reject them, meaning that your shares will be sold before its full growth (e.g., by going public or being acquired). In my experience, fund managers decided to join a tender offer for shares I held already more than 2 years. About 6 to 10 months later (I cannot remember exactly how many months), I was notified that fund managers are considering to join another tender offer. If you are an investor seeking a high-risk-high-return opportunity in unlisted company, this platform may not align with your expectation.
