The postal service had a bit of trouble with a delivery and Penn was on top of it. Prices are within pennies per oz of all competitors and more often than not beat the others, whenever I've looked.

Good resource, but why would ANYONE not use a Credit Card.... I have been reading about everyone's thoughts, opinions, etc. I must say, that I purchased twice from them, I was happy both times. I do wonder why anyone would purchase such items from any vendor without using a credit card! I know you have to pay a bit more, but the insurance it gives the buyer out ways ANY savings. I am sorry to hear about their demise, even more sorry to hear that people are not getting what they paid for. You wouldn't have any issues if you paid by CC! In the future, be smarter, use your CREDIT CARD, it's always a win/win.

Excellent! Better than expected! This was my first order from Penn Metals... several tubes of 90% silver coins. I expected they might be heavily worn and in fair condition. They were in fact excellent -- the vast majority in very good condition -- and packed in hard plastic tubes, not paper rolls! The price was right, they shipped promptly, and they were well packed. A real person answered the phone when I placed the order, and she was very knowledgeable and courteous. I had tried several local sources in the past -- gold/silver exchanges, pawn shops, coin shows -- none even came close to Penn. Their product, price and service couldn't be better! I plan to be a regular customer! Thanks!!

Excellent company to do business with. I had one minor issue with a coin that was delivered to me. Penn Metals responded immediately and made the exchange for a replacement coin as seamless as possible. I have placed several other orders with the company and have been very pleased with their merchandise. I placed a few orders for vintage coins and their condition was better than I anticipated. Will definitely continue to do business with Penn Metals.

Criminal!! I sent a cashiers check for a substantial amount of money and have not heard anything since dec 16th, as mentioned by everyone else in here I was told my order or refund would be sent by dec 23rd... at this point I'm working with the BBB, the Texas attorney general, financial crime division of the FBI, and U.S. postal inspection service. For their sake, Hopefully this gets resolved before drastic measures need consideration...
