Great rate & strong start - stumbled at the end Great rate and start to the process. Easy to submit documents, but some had to be submitted multiple times. Closing paperwork was wrong, despite me reminding of all prepaids. This led to me overpaying by over $3k, which was promptly returned to me by the closing company. Started off as my best mortgage experience, but stumbled at the end causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. All that said, I would still try Morty again, hoping that it finishes as strong as it began.

Morty.com deserves 10 STARS! Derek, Noah, Karen and their team at Morty.com deserve 10 stars!! They were so competent, caring and supportive throughout the whole process of procuring a home loan. They were able to find an incredibly good rate for us, with the lowest closing costs I've seen. They explained everything, anticipated potential problems with the underwriters so that we could meet our contractual closing date, and followed through on every detail. I wish every company was half as good. I will use them again and give them the highest recommendation!

Everything was going well until the last day of the mortgage contingency when suddenly, they need tons of new paperwork from me. I feel that I am consistently having to repeat myself in emails and currently, we might not be closing on time. I'm hoping they can get everything together in the next few hours. We have done two mortgage applications through Morty and in both cases Robert was very patient and walked us through the different options. He also kept us posted, and took us through the process explaining what each step meant. We've appreciated his insights and guidance and would definitely work with him again

Most expedient option to bank... The most convenient option to finance your home. Everything was done so seamlessly - I didn't have run around to the bank or keep calling the loan officer in traditional banks. I was hesitant at first to go the online route to finance my home - but I am very glad I did. Also they offered such great interest rate - No other bank could match it!
