Fast, Friendly, and Helpful As a first-time home buyer, the process of buying a house can be scary. Typically drawn-out and complicated, there seem to be a million little steps and you never know what is lurking around the corner. Morty makes that journey a whole lot less stressful. From the nascent stages of searching for a good interest rate all the way to closing on your new home, Morty is straightforward and transparent. Morty showed us great rates but their follow through sucks Morty showed us great rates. Everything was going well until the last day of the mortgage contingency when suddenly, they need tons of new paperwork from me. I feel that I am consistently having to repeat myself in emails and currently, we might not be closing on time. I'm hoping they can get everything together in the next few hours. I will update my review if the situation improves.

Very efficient document intake Very efficient document intake. Most communication was done through email and their portal website where most documents are entered. I was able to lock in a significantly lower rate than what I was quoted by others. Pretty responsive (except weekends), and was very relieved and happy to have gotten everything done within a 28 day closing period.
