Morty - An Amazing Experience! Morty was a pleasure to work with and very user friendly for tech-savvy buyers. My advisor, Michael Huggins, and closer, Jack Edelman, were with me every step along the way and very accessible. Their float down program ensures that you get the best rate by closing and they are quick to respond and keep things moving seamlessly. To quote a comment from my realtor: "Wow, your lender is a beast! They are so on top of things at Morty." Fast, Friendly, and Helpful As a first-time home buyer, the process of buying a house can be scary. Typically drawn-out and complicated, there seem to be a million little steps and you never know what is lurking around the corner. Morty makes that journey a whole lot less stressful. From the nascent stages of searching for a good interest rate all the way to closing on your new home, Morty is straightforward and transparent. Plus, Morty provides an attentive, dedicated team of specialists (shout out to Angela, Ebony, and Paige!) for each part of the process. I had a slightly atypical home buying process with plenty of twists and turns, and my Morty team always rolled with punches!

I shared my expectations with Paige… Morty’s rates were the lowest online so, I called and shared my expectations with Paige from Morty during my initial loan consultation. She answered all my questions and assured me the process would go smoothly. Their web portal for uploads was easy to understand and navigate. Paige and Jack were available along the way via txt or call, both followed through on their promise. We had normal issues with my general contractor’s completion timeline and they worked hard to keep my closing on track! Great job!!

Morty showed us great rates but their follow through sucks Morty showed us great rates. Everything was going well until the last day of the mortgage contingency when suddenly, they need tons of new paperwork from me. I feel that I am consistently having to repeat myself in emails and currently, we might not be closing on time. I'm hoping they can get everything together in the next few hours. I will update my review if the situation improves.

We have done two mortgage applications through Morty and in both cases Robert was very patient and walked us through the different options. He also kept us posted, and took us through the process explaining what each step meant. We've appreciated his insights and guidance and would definitely work with him again
