He answered all of our questions and if he didn't know right away - he would get back to us at least the same day. We never felt out of the loop and the process was painless. Tim, the closing associate, was also communicative. He made the official closing a positive experience when we needed to meet the closing date. Buying a house is a big decision and the process isn't linear so, we are thankful that Michael and Tim were there to support us through closing! Thank you so, so much!

GBFast, Friendly, and Helpful As a first-time home buyer, the process of buying a house can be scary. Typically drawn-out and complicated, there seem to be a million little steps and you never know what is lurking around the corner. Morty makes that journey a whole lot less stressful. From the nascent stages of searching for a good interest rate all the way to closing on your new home, Morty is straightforward and transparent. Plus, Morty provides an attentive, dedicated team of specialists (shout out to Angela, Ebony, and Paige!) for each part of the process. I had a slightly atypical home buying process with plenty of twists and turns, and my Morty team always rolled with punches!

GBYour organization was not proactive and… Your organization was not proactive and not very forthcoming with information on my closing which ended up being stressful for me. I tried to be very proactive in providing info. Some of your reviewers of documents did not even act like they could read or decipher info. Time off or vacation was taken at what I would have considered critical in processing my loan. However my loan did close on time and I am grateful for that.

GBGreat rate & strong start - stumbled at the end Great rate and start to the process. Easy to submit documents, but some had to be submitted multiple times. Closing paperwork was wrong, despite me reminding of all prepaids. This led to me overpaying by over $3k, which was promptly returned to me by the closing company. Started off as my best mortgage experience, but stumbled at the end causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. All that said, I would still try Morty again, hoping that it finishes as strong as it began.
