It has since remained with an “unpaid” balance for over 2 years, contacts to customer service is garbage, they just confirm the account is closed. I have been on hold for over an hour to speak with someone to have it removed, I’ve disputed it to the credit reporting agencies. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!

Credit Score was hurt more than helped - STAY AWAY I started using Self Lender back in 2020. After completing my one-year account, I signed up for another 2 year account. The original account closed and my credit score dropped 34 points - 4 points below where it had been when I started the program. When I called their customer service, I was told that they couldn’t do anything to help. After seeing this, I was afraid that, after the two year period, my credit score would take an even bigger hit, so I cancelled the program altogether. 8 months later, the account finally closed and in one day, my score dropped 64 points. I feel incredibly disappointed with my experience.
