A simple and easy way to switch companies I was able to complete setting up my account in about 10 minutes, and get the advertised rate that I was interested in. The staff member I spoke with was polite, helpful and efficient. I would recommend this company based on my experience so far. 1209215

SHAME!! Looks like a shopping site, but all the providers are the same company!! TOTAL AND BLATANT DECEPTION!! I was looking at the various sites that help find the best electricity deals for my house and Electric.com came up on a Google search. I was suspicious when the only listed three providers - Just, Tara, and Amigo. Dug a little deeper and found out that all of the providers are owned by the same company, Just Energy! They make it look like they are doing you a favor by scouring all of the providers, but they are actually just letting you pick from one of their own companies. If that wasn't bad enough, almost all of the deals had serious "gotcha" terms, like charging you $59 to $149 UP FRONT to get the "Preferred Rate". Nice! I get a great rate and get charged a $149 fee first month for the privilege! They even have the gall to put these very words on their site: Why Shop Here? There’s a reason malls and large shopping centers are popular during the holidays—shoppers can get everything they need in one place. Electric.com offers the same benefit for electricity and natural gas suppliers. Instead of visiting multiple websites, writing down plans, rates and offers, just search here. We’ve done the work for you. Yeah, right....if all of the stores in the mall are owned by the same company! This is openly deceptive, even if they eventually put other providers on their site, do you really think that their "Ranking" will be unbiased? BUYER BEWARE!!
