I felt as if Arcus Lending could have taken a more proactive approach to thoroughly explain all the steps and what borrowers should expect, especially for first timers. This would have minimized the stress and doubts that I had for the firm at times.

They do process loans that close They do process loans that close. However, their portfolio is limited to sales or refinance of home (no construction loans or land/lot loans)

Stressful and unprofessional experience Though Shashank at the end helped close the loan on time by pulling extra strings, overall experience working with one of his staff was stressful. Too many times I had to follow up on errors observed in documents without successful resolution until the very end. I was told that the insurance I had purchased was incorrect after about a month just 2 days before closing. I didn’t know the amount required at closing until evening before the closing day. I have had closed mortgage loans before but this was by far the most unprofessional experience.
