An extremely fortunate email! I received an email from LowerMyBills asking if I had considered refinancing our house. It did not seem like the usual junk mail, so I filled out the included questionnaire and submitted it. Not long after, I received a phone call from Alisa of Rocket Mortgage who helped me through the online process of applying for a new mortgage at a much better rate. Refinancing We literally worked on finding a lender to refinance while going to dinner one evening. It was a very quick process and we were contacted almost immediately. We close today. Our new lender, Rocket, has walked us through the entire process. We couldn't be happier.

False Hope I received no help at all. I explained I lost my job during the pandemic, and this caused financial hardship for several months. I have been fortunate to start working again, but the pandemic drained my savings and put my credit in a bad place. Since I’ve returned to work my credit has started to turn around, but none of this was considered. I find this so called help a joke.
