Exceptional Client Onboarding Specialist: Ali Kimbrell I recently had the pleasure of working with Ali Kimbrell, and I cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism, expertise, and demeanor throughout our 401K plan onboarding process. Ali served as our client onboarding specialist, and from the initial stages to the final details, she exemplified excellence in every aspect. First and foremost, Ali's kindness was palpable in every interaction. She approached each step of the process with a genuine desire to assist and support, making what could have been a daunting task feel manageable and even enjoyable. Her warmth and empathy created a comfortable atmosphere, allowing for open communication and a smooth transition into our new 401K plan. Ali's professionalism was evident from the outset. She demonstrated a thorough understanding of the intricacies of 401K plans and guided us expertly through the onboarding process. Her attention to detail ensured that no aspect was overlooked, and she consistently went above and beyond to address any questions or concerns promptly and effectively. One of Ali's standout qualities was her responsiveness. No matter the time or nature of the inquiry, Ali was always quick to respond with clarity and precision. Her dedication to ensuring timely and accurate communication instilled confidence in our team and alleviated any apprehensions we may have had. Furthermore, Ali's positive attitude was infectious. Despite the inevitable challenges that arise during such processes, Ali maintained a cheerful and optimistic demeanor throughout. Her enthusiasm was not only refreshing but also motivational, inspiring confidence in our decision to embark on this 401K journey. In conclusion, working with Ali Kimbrell was an absolute pleasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone beginning their 401K process. Her kindness, professionalism, responsiveness, and unwavering positivity made what could have been a daunting experience a smooth and enjoyable one. Thank you, Ali, for your exceptional support and expertise.

This company is the worst 401K company… This company is the worst 401K company I have ever been forced to allow to hold my 401K contributions. They make changes to one's investments, changing where and how much is invested WITHOUT your express approval. Even when you are explicitly denied them the rights to 'rebalance'. Then they argue with you and refuse to change your investments back, costing one significant earnings and leaving you stuck with the funds that charge the highest fees. If your employer chooses this company for 401Ks, FIND A ANOTHER Employer.

It's Always Something...!! I can only characterize my experiences with Ubiquity as frustratingly slow and tedious. It takes FOREVER to accomplish anything that requires assistance from a human at Ubiquity! Send an email to Support and here's their standard reply: We are experiencing an unusually high volume and will respond to your inquiry within seven to ten business days. Ubiquity, here's a hint: HIRE more people! Your customers, Small Businesses, don't generally have the luxury of telling their customers to wait 7-10 business days to respond to an email, or to complete a request for action. The only thing that Ubiquity is quick with is onboarding a new customer and collecting their fees (and it seems that everything has an additional fee on top of their quarterly pound of flesh). Since I don't have any experience with other companies who administer 401K retirement plans, I can't say that Ubiquity is better or worse, only that I would not choose them again.

Ubiquity trainwreck from start to finish... I have a PCRA account with Charles Schwab in which Ubiquity is the administrator. I have verified with Schwab that there is NO NAMED TRUSTEE on the PCRA account. I have been informed by Schwab that only Ubiquity has the authority to name me as Trustee over my company PCRA account, I am a small business owner with just myself and my wife participating in the safe harbor 401k at Ubiquity. The advice I was given by Ubiquity is to terminate my agreement with them and that would "release my money" but that is extremely poor fiduciary advice because that would freeze and lock my money into the PCRA account at Schwab since there is no named Trustee. I have been trying to communicate with Ubiquity for months regarding this issue with absolutely no help and refusal to let me speak with a manager that understands what they are doing. I am thankful to the PCRA team at Schwab for providing me with good advice and I am in complete shock at the lack of customer service, fiduciary responsibility, and knowledge at Ubiquity. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM DEALING WITH THE SAME DISASTER, DO NOT WALK BUT RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have had nothing but issues with this company from day one, I trusted their marketing that they focus on helping small business owners but they dont, they only take your business and leave you with no direction, no communication, and charge you quarterly to treat you like trash.
