As Buyer As Buyer, Entered into a Contract with the Seller who listed the property with Home Bay, Contract was subject to a Mortgage, sent Earnest money to Home Bay's Escrow Agent, Lend Mark in Utah, Bank never approved my Mortgage, Appraisal rejected, Its been THREE Months now and Home Bay has failed to refund me my Earnest money....at this point, i'll have to sue Home Bay...these are BAD people...Scammers

Horrible, stressful experience! Horrible, stressful experience! Rude "agents" attempt to push sellers into poor contracts with low offers. They insult the sellers and accuse them of being uncooperative. Very time consuming to sell a home this way, since buying agents call the seller due to HomeBay being unreachable. Unprofessional all the way. They break their own contract. Professional photos sucked, my own sold the home after they were fired.

If Cal Tech escrow is part of Home Bay I highly recommend choosing a different escrow company. There are constant internal delays...
