Non-reaponsive waste of time I attempted to use splitspot to find a room in Boston and they were non reaponsive, did not connect me with any of the apartments, and did not follow up on any of my questions. This prevented me from contacting any of the potential rooms making this platform useless. I ended up having to use another platform. I also know another potential customer who after multiple email exchanges was left in the same spot. This may work for some people but you have to be lucky I would go elsewhere.

Nightmare What a nightmare!!! The worst rental company anyone could come across, pretty much you have no one to talk to because their phone line never works and you can’t even leave a message. The emails are pointless it's like talking to a brick wall. I Moved to ( 9 Mount Pleasant St ) From pictures that don't represent the actual house, the apt was filthy, rodent infestation which is left to deal with by yourself, It wasn't livable space, I requested to my money back and 4 Weeks later I am still waiting for a responds.

I won't use their service... I won't rent with them because they demonstrate they are not available to their customers even during the onboarding stage, so how can I trust them to be there for me during a tenancy? The truth is, I cannot. Their non-existent help during the pre-rental stage includes no email, chat, or question ever being addressed; bot answers are all I get, and if it's this bad pre-rental than SplitSpot is a "no go". Trustpilot is wrong to give them 2.9 stars when they only have 2 reviews at this writing, each being 1 star only.

Absolute criminals Absolute criminals, they charge you a “convenience” fee on top of your rent, a $100 fee for “inspection” at move out. If the place isn’t clean to their liking they charge you $350. When we moved into our old place, it was absolutely destroyed by the prior tenants. Split spot claimed it was cleaned before us. When we arrived, it was just being cleaned. Our move in time was also delayed about 6 hours due to their negligence. Avoid them at all costs. Use a realtor

This company is ILLEGAL This company is ILLEGAL. They CHANGED THE LOCKS on the doors WITHOUT notice. Tenants were LOCKED OUT OF THEIR OWN HOME. They refuse to make necessary repairs including FIRE HAZARDS. They put tenants in hazardous conditions. I have been in two different rentals under Splitspot. Splitspot is the MOST ILLEGAL company I have ever personally known. They must have the most incredible legal team because they should have been sued about five million times by now. NEVER EVER use Splitspot. EVER.
