GBNew Microwave I have been asking for a microwave since I monitor my room on December 1, 2022. I cannot blame Splitspot AT ALL, because they were in constant contact with me and provided me with updates even when there was nothing to update. I just wish that my landlord was as on top of things as Split Spot and it's team. My only complaint is that I wish my roommates were cleaner, but I guess that's what Chlorox wipes are for. If it wasn't for the SplitSpot teams diligence I would probably still be without a microwave. Thank you for all your help.

GBTerrible experience Terrible experience Lacked proper communication, from begging to end They only provide an automated text-only phone number, and do not reply to emails They send cryptic messages with little information on what / how to do what’s next They often go back on their word and backtrack (accept your application then rescind, send you a lease and then give the property to somebody else) so you cannot trust them

GBWish I could give negative stars Wish I could give negative stars. My daughter and her roommates discovered their apartment would be rented out from under Them when the new tenants came to tour. We called splitspot and could not get a straight honest answer. We saw apartment listed in apartments.com. Unethical and dishonest. The only answer I could get was a scripted statement. This is after weeks trying to get a broken dryer fixed with NO luck. At best this is a very poorly run organization. More likely it is an unethical organization taking advantage of young people trying to find affordable housing in greater Boston. Please for your own sake DO NOT do business with them at all!!!!!!!!

GBAbsolute criminals Absolute criminals, they charge you a “convenience” fee on top of your rent, a $100 fee for “inspection” at move out. If the place isn’t clean to their liking they charge you $350. When we moved into our old place, it was absolutely destroyed by the prior tenants. Split spot claimed it was cleaned before us. When we arrived, it was just being cleaned. Our move in time was also delayed about 6 hours due to their negligence. Avoid them at all costs. Use a realtor

GBI’m having a couple of bad experiences… I’m having a couple of bad experiences with split spot. There’s good.. tho when money is involved the bad is bad. Coercing tenants to resign to another lease, not even half way through their original; just to charge us more is CRIMINAL Making mistakes on our bills IS UNACCEPTABLE. Constantly changing third party’s where tenants are suppose to pay their utilities is the reason behind splitspot charging its tenants “overdue payments” for utilities. Due to there incompetence. It sucks because I really liked this place and what it had to offer in terms of a setting.
