They kicked me out of my apartment mid lease Only use SplitSpot as a last option when you need a place ASAP and can't find anything. I had a year lease with them and when my other roommates were moving out SplitSpot kicked me out with 2 weeks notice to pick one of their other available apts to move in to MID LEASE. (They write into your lease that they are allowed to do this so you have no recourse) Not only that but theyre completely incompetent with support. I had issues that took me emailing weekly for a month for them to finally send someone out to fix. The worst property managers I've experienced in Boston without question.

Nightmare What a nightmare!!! The worst rental company anyone could come across, pretty much you have no one to talk to because their phone line never works and you can’t even leave a message. The emails are pointless it's like talking to a brick wall. I Moved to ( 9 Mount Pleasant St ) From pictures that don't represent the actual house, the apt was filthy, rodent infestation which is left to deal with by yourself, It wasn't livable space, I requested to my money back and 4 Weeks later I am still waiting for a responds.

NEVER Rent with SplitSpot Have never had customer service as poor as this before. Never received keys to the building, lock boxes were empty and no codes had even been provided. 6 weeks with broken AC during two 95 degree heatwaves in Boston and after 3 weeks all they did was reset the breaker, AC was never even fixed, I was just moved out. Was then charged for full utilities even with the broken AC, $75 out of my security deposit just to review the property even after photos of empty clean room were provided? Tours of the apartment with no notice given, and we were only informed of any visits after they would have come.

Great roommate matching They have a really good process for finding roommates for someone new to the city - the people i'm living with are great. The quality of the apartment is ok - but not really something splitspot handles. Landlord is responsive tho

This company is ILLEGAL This company is ILLEGAL. They CHANGED THE LOCKS on the doors WITHOUT notice. Tenants were LOCKED OUT OF THEIR OWN HOME. They refuse to make necessary repairs including FIRE HAZARDS. They put tenants in hazardous conditions. I have been in two different rentals under Splitspot. Splitspot is the MOST ILLEGAL company I have ever personally known. They must have the most incredible legal team because they should have been sued about five million times by now. NEVER EVER use Splitspot. EVER.
