GBVery bad experience! Never again! Very bad experience! The house upon arrival was very dirty and dusty. I found old food, dirty diapers, and cobwebs all over. No enhanced cleaning here as advertised! They didn't even provide pillowcases and the pillows were all filthy. I was told that a ski lift ticket was included, when I checked in only a rental was (so might have been some confusion on the employee's end) since I got one the year before. The location was very dirty. I was offered a free day. Once management processed the complaint they only offered a refund for the cleaning fee. I felt ripped off by the entire experience and will never use them again. I found Big Bear Cool Cabins and I was very happy with them!

GBThe unit we stayed in was unsafe The unit we stayed in was unsafe. We were unable to use the fireplace without smoke filling the unit. This was even after calling the office and someone coming out to inspect the flute and ventilate the unit. (We also did their one log slow start to warm up the chimney they suggested over phone). The heat worked in the bedrooms but the main living area and kitchen got really chilly without the ability to use the fireplace not to mention the health risk to us and our 6 month old with smoke/ carbon monoxide filling the condo. When we got home everything we owned smelled like a camp fire. This should be addressed before renting this unit to anyone. Pros: proximity to village, clean, two nice size bedrooms on different levels for nice privacy, nice large hot tub with easy access from indoors. Decent for price if they figure out the fireplace issue. Cons: fireplace unsafe (cold in main living area without it), one small bathroom with small shower, lots of stairs (split level), uneven flooring in kitchen and bathroom.

GBThe house was not clean upon arrival… The house was not clean upon arrival not stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc. We reached out to the office multiple times and waited several hours for a cleaning “crew” to arrive - which consisted of one woman with her daughter. They did not finish up until midnight on our first night. I felt terrible for the two of them, as I’m sure the oversight was not their fault. The only silver lining was that we were reimbursed for that first night’s stay. It wasn’t a great first experience that’s for sure.

GBReally poor experience around New Year's Waited more than hour just to get keys, and found out then that the property wasn't even ready yet. This was at 5:30 pm when check-in was supposed to be 4 pm. We didn't finally get in to the property until 6:30 pm. The dinner voucher provided didn't compensate for one of our two nights of vacation being so frustrating. The property itself was also lacking in things like paper towels, salt and pepper, enough towels and laundry detergent for more than two loads. There just want a thoughtful touch at all. Their policies surrounding check in and check out (10 am!) were ridiculous as well. You have to drive your own garbage to a dumpster or you get charged $25 a bag. It was the longest rental agreement I've ever had to sign.

GBThe Cozy Cottage we rented was in a… The Cozy Cottage we rented was in a fabulous location next to the Snow Summit ski area with lots of snow play surrounding the house. That was the reason we rented the property. The house itself was large enough for all 10 of us. However, there were lots of problems with the house itself. The cleaning staff needs to be changed as there were dirty socks in the downstairs bed indicating the linens had not been changed. The handle on the sink in the bathroom was broken making it hard to use. A space heater has to be brought in for the bedroom without a heater vent. There was a white pill of some kind on the bedroom floor indicating the floor had not been vacuumed. Shower was corroded. Water dribbled out. Kitchen tabletop was not attached to the base and kept falling off.
