I met lots of interesting people in Culla, Spain - a real community of likeminded spirits! The booking process was easy, and I was able to speak with the host to ask them any questions before arriving. Great platform for any digital nomads or travelers to find nice accommodation with cool communities!

Stolen Deposit Money and No Action from Coliving.com Administrators I used coliving.com to book a month's stay in a foreign city. The booking went well, and the stay was pretty okay. There weren't any reviews on the place, which I should have been more skeptical of. There weren't any other people in the house aside from the owners who stayed in their room. The community vibe was unfortunately not there. Then, when I left the owners reassured me that I would get my security deposit back in 10 days. This soon turned into 30 days. Which has now turned into 3 months. The owners are avoiding my calls, texts, and emails. I have come to the realization that I am not getting this money back. I contacted coliving, they have been very cold, not reassuring at the slightest. They have done nothing in terms of demerits or removal of the listing from their website. I recommend using other coliving booking platforms, as there is a risk of theft and poor customer service.

If you google the individual properties they rent you'll see the review are wildly different. edit: It's been 2 weeks and they still haven't posted my review of the property. They absolutely filter out bad reviews to make more money. Their response tries to play it off as if "oh we don't import from Google". That is completely different than refusing to post honest reviews in general. And just to follow up on the customer service piece, they had me send a whatsapp message to support when I had issues at the property and never responded once and ghosted me.

Really a terrible "coliving" lodge. The owner literally joked about it being like "The Shining" because it's so remote and there was no one else there. Owner doesn't even stay. Ah. It was so stressful after a while. Anyway, Ana was just such a saviour for me. To have someone to listen to me and provide support, it was truly invaluable. I really appreciate the help and support I received.
