So easy I am still amazed! I have heard many stories of stressful, delayed and difficult dealings between mortgage companies, escrow, and realtors. Some are quite close to home. Not ours! We had a great agent and everyone we dealt with was responsive and professional. We closed in exactly 30 days with no hiccups! Initially we went with Union Plus simply because it was our union offering, but it turned out to be a great company and we are very appreciative for the smooth easy experience we had. As a first time home buyer As a first time home buyer, I felt like a lot of information came to me late. The team was very nice, but it was two weeks after I was in contract that I received an email introducing me to the team of four (two people were completely new to me) and at the end of the process I was required to take a ReadyNest test which would have been more appropriate at the beginning. As a company that deals with Union members who have irregular paychecks, the team did not seem to be prepared for the multiple w2s and 1099s. I'm not sure if it was a lack of experience that made the mortgage commitment process feel so slow, but I had hoped that I would be guided through the process more clearly and efficiently. Everyone was very nice.

Easy refinance experience Michael and Meredith were great. I was able to refinance completely contactless, but with great email communication every step of the way. I'm happy to be able to have union hardship protection for my mortgage should I ever need it. I've put off refinancing for along time, because I didnt really understand what was involved or if I would have to come out of pocket to do it (i didnt) and UPMC made it easy to get my questions answered and the process completed.

SCAM! They wont cancel my insurance and still charge me monthly. I have sent multiple messeges requesting for cancellation of my life insurance and they ignored me. I also stopped bank payments to them and they still send me mail charging me 12$ monthly says i owe them 132$ now after a year of attempting to get it canceled. EVERYONE AVOID THIS SCAM LIFE INSURANCE, THEY WONT LET YOU CANCEL YOUR LIFE INSURANCE
