CADo not use gofundme or face losses and stress I couldn’t have imagined months of time would be lost trying to do a gofundme campaign that people have wanted to donate to and share the past 5 months. Do to ongoing problems, in the beginning having to set up new email addresses and campaigns because of not getting the email to set up banking info, then not being able to access the account because each time it does not accept the password, then having to go through their cumbersome bot that brings no resolution before then having to go through the chat process and then the password reset process chat only to go through it again each time we try to access the account. Dealing with the dysfunctional system at gofundme has cost thousands of dollars in losses having paid people to set it up in social media platforms but not being able to promote it due to the gofundme acct problems. when someone is living with chronic pain, has no income and while people want the campaign out to support it, dealing with gofundme bring in such a desperate situation, gofundme is giving people the push to take the life when going through the stress, cost and time to get help, without and results because of gofundme’s dysfunctional platform and problems they don’t fix. People need to boycott gofundme. 5.5 months with ongoing problems with the gofundme acct, no resolution despite the numerous times gofundme has been contacted about the problem and people lined up to donate and share while the campaign goes no where due to the account problems while a person doesn’t have the means to pay for medications or travel to get to treatments. No one should ever be robbed if the time and face the stress that has been endured trying to get help only to put in a more destitute position because of the dysfunction and lack of resolution with gofundme

CAI am an organizer I am an organizer, the beneficiary dont have access to a bank account. This is first time I am running a campaign, we mistakenly attached the organizer banking details with beneficiary account. I want to cancel that and add organizer banking details. Reached out to customer service via chat as this is the only option they have other than email which I already sent 3 times and did not get any response. The agent was taking 5 min before answering my each message, then the agent said she is going to close the chat and instead going to send me an email, she closed the chat and I never received any email. Fund are stuck and those fund are urgently needed to the family could die due to hunger if they did not receive those funds.

GBTransfers paused for nearly a month with no idea how to retrieve funds!! I set up a fundraising page on behalf of my two daughters who along with their youth clubs choose a cause each year to raise money for. The account was set up nearly a month ago with transfers paused, I completed all forms and was told to expect 5-7 days. No response other than ‘we will escalate to our compliance team’ meanwhile we continue to receive donations. There are no humans only chat bots, my daughters are heartbroken that this money is not being sent to the babies we are raising money for, not to mention the stress I feel for accepting peoples donations only for the funds to be sat there doing nothing. I am having sleepless nights because of this, how can I face all the people who have donated in good faith, I wish I had never used GFM for our fundraiser. Their service falls way below my expectations for a company trying to help unite donors with a just cause. I would advise to AVOID at all costs.

GBGoFundme only cares about good publicity Thousands of fundraisers on Gofundme haven't recieved a cent after months or even years, yet Gofundme only shows the ones that have already made thousands. Even worse, you can't filter to help someone start their fundraiser, you can only filter for ones that are almost complete. This shows that Gofundme cares more about a single success story for their website than actually helping people :(

CAComputer glitch remedied! A computer glitch caused my donation to be processed twice. I immediately contacted GoFundMe and Eleanor had the second charge reversed in a matter of minutes.
