GBSetting up a GoFundMe for a Palestinian… Setting up a GoFundMe for a Palestinian family of three currently trapped and literally starving in Gaza (Rafah). After initial setup, receive message from GFM that my account is 'under review' pending my response to 'urgent' questions re the goals of my fundraiser. People can still contribute but I will not get any of these contributions until this 'urgent' review is resolved. I answer the long list of questions immediately, then hear nothing from GFM. Meanwhile people contribute to the site, but I never see any of the money and am thus unable to forward help to my friend's family in Gaza. Guess GFM Team is not starving and thus can take their time.

GBAbsolutely shocking customer service Absolutely shocking customer service. There was an error in my donation that meant I transferred much too much money - go fund me say they will happily refund a mistaken donation. So I put in the request, contacting them over and over agani - despite being told I'd get a reply in 24 hours, I heard nothing. After 4 days I managed to speak to a live chat human not a robot. They promised to escalate and get back to me by the end of the day, I have still heard nothing 48 hours later. I am now in serious financial dire straits, and the poor fundraisers themselves have heard nothing. How can anyone trust making a donation through go fund me when they behave like this? I have never been so disappointed with any company. I will return here with an update to see if they do ANYTHING. But at the moment all they seem to do is take money for nothing. Awful -do not trust them at all.

GBI have trying to get a response for more than a month I have trying to get a response for several weeks because the transfers are on hold. Gufundme requested information and I sent all they have been asking a month ago. The fundraiser is for the Surgery of my sister and she is in pain, and we haven't been able to get the funds needed to complete the payment of the materials to the hospital.

GBA sucker per minute In the USA they have a popular saying “There’s a sucker born every minute” and as far as I am concerned anyone who is mindwiped enough to hand money to (sometimes) complete strangers begging online, either has far too much money or is indeed a “sucker”. GO FUND YOURSELF !!!!!!!!!!!

CAComputer glitch remedied! A computer glitch caused my donation to be processed twice. I immediately contacted GoFundMe and Eleanor had the second charge reversed in a matter of minutes.
