GBSneaky tactic by go fund me to extract extra money from me I was delighted to make a charity donation of £20 but very disappointed at the misleading tactic go fund me used to attempt to extract an extra £3.20 from me. Sneaky and naughty.

CADo not use gofundme or face losses and stress I couldn’t have imagined months of time would be lost trying to do a gofundme campaign that people have wanted to donate to and share the past 5 months. Do to ongoing problems, in the beginning having to set up new email addresses and campaigns because of not getting the email to set up banking info, then not being able to access the account because each time it does not accept the password, then having to go through their cumbersome bot that brings no resolution before then having to go through the chat process and then the password reset process chat only to go through it again each time we try to access the account. Dealing with the dysfunctional system at gofundme has cost thousands of dollars in losses having paid people to set it up in social media platforms but not being able to promote it due to the gofundme acct problems. when someone is living with chronic pain, has no income and while people want the campaign out to support it, dealing with gofundme bring in such a desperate situation, gofundme is giving people the push to take the life when going through the stress, cost and time to get help, without and results because of gofundme’s dysfunctional platform and problems they don’t fix. People need to boycott gofundme. 5.5 months with ongoing problems with the gofundme acct, no resolution despite the numerous times gofundme has been contacted about the problem and people lined up to donate and share while the campaign goes no where due to the account problems while a person doesn’t have the means to pay for medications or travel to get to treatments. No one should ever be robbed if the time and face the stress that has been endured trying to get help only to put in a more destitute position because of the dysfunction and lack of resolution with gofundme

ESI donated £100 to a 'Ugandan… I donated £100 to a 'Ugandan orphanage', I became suspicious after them (the 'orphanage') contacting me directly through social media. I tried to contact the organiser of the fundraiser to find out some further information who apparently is US based but they haven't replied?. The man who contacted me from the 'Orphanage' was asking me to share the go fund me link and had multiple different named social media sites, he was also sending images and videos from the 'Orphanage' which was odd . I asked for documentation to see its a registered NGO so I could be confident in helping further via gofundme. I since realise the documentation he provided is fake, I complained to Gofundme and they have not checked the 'orphanage' out, its still raising money despite almost certainly being fake, I have not been 'covered' despite the wonderful advertisements of being fully covered on the Gofund me website and I have received no moneyback as guaranteed and the reply from Go Fund me support was very unprofessional. I will never trust this site again. Do not believe your money is 'guaranteed' it IS NOT. They are not tackling or even have any interest in the fact the fundraiser is FAKE and I gave proof. No interest whatsoever. I'm sure the media would have a field day if they knew this sort of thing was happening and judging by the comments...its happening regularly

USAt first I couldn't find my bank… At first I couldn't find my bank because it's an online bank. But, the CSR helped me out.
