We have tried to support environmental… We have tried to support environmental methods to help eliminate waste going into landfills and we’ve been doing this for several years. We were so glad when we found out about this company when we moved here in 2019. The company is very reliable and sends reminders the day before and if we forget they go ahead and leave us a fresh bucket. We highly recommend them and wish more would use them.

Easy AND Important! Couldn’t ask for an easier way to move forward on a path towards an environmentally friendly and sustainable home. We have less than one bag of trash a week now and it is never stinky! It is such a great feeling to know that all of our food waste is going back into the ground in a nourishing way, rather than being trapped in a landfill and contributing to atmospheric methane levels. Key City Compost has gone above and… Key City Compost has gone above and beyond to make sure I am able to compost, which is super cool! If I forget to put my bucket out, they'll leave an additional one for me anyway. Once, during a move, they even followed me to my new home to pick up my compost after I'd forgotten to adjust the address! Key City is the greatest and Frederick is incredibly lucky to have a program like this! Thank you for all that you do!

I love having home compost pick-up I love having home compost pick-up! I'm so appreciative of the job Key Compost does every week. They made it really easy for us to get started here in Park Fairfax. the collection bucket is nice and large--I often leave the bucket out every other week and so far it hasn't been an issue. The staff is really nice and responsive and I haven't had any issues with compost not being picked up. Everyone should have home compost collection!

I Love Key City Compost! I love Key City Compost! I've been a customer since April of 2019 and have never had any problems. They are always true to their word - My compost bucket is picked up and replaced when they say it will be and when there are schedule changes needed (weather, holidays, etc...) I always get enough notice. I've also had occasional questions about what I can put in the bucket and I've always gotten prompt answers. I love that I can keep my food scraps out of the landfill and still get quality compost for my garden without having to do all the hard work in between.
