If you don’t want to deal with the mess… If you don’t want to deal with the mess of doing your own compost, this is a great service. They are easy to work with, collecting your bucket on a regular schedule and replacing it with a new one. Three customer service features I like are the yearly billing discount option, the pick up reminder emails, and the pick up person’s effort to collect the bucket even when I forget to put it out. Also I appreciate being able to stop service when went on vacation.

If I forget to put my bucket out, they'll leave an additional one for me anyway. Once, during a move, they even followed me to my new home to pick up my compost after I'd forgotten to adjust the address! Key City is the greatest and Frederick is incredibly lucky to have a program like this! Thank you for all that you do!
