Beautiful Panama Hats. Buying this hat was an absolute joy. Panama Hats Direct have kept me informed at every stage with updates and photographs. The process has taken a surprisingly short amount of time. Most important of all, my new and first Panama is beautifully made, a proper work of art as far as I’m concerned. what a great hat company! I really enjoyed getting a couple hats from these folks. After I placed my order I received regular emails, with pictures, of my actual hats being completed. The updates gave a real sense of working with artisans and not some giant faceless corporation. The hats were done within a few days and arrived within a couple weeks, in a sturdy box with a cardboard form to keep their shape. The sweatbands and hatbands were very well attached and the fit was exactly as I had ordered, using the company's easy-to-use hat-fitting tape you can print on any computer printer. If you really want a hat that fits your exact size head, these folks are a great way to go.

They provided a way of getting my size right, the website has excellent images of designs and gives good descriptions. Following my order, they sent emails to let me know where they are up to in the making. After receiving the hat (in good condition) I had follow up questions which were dealt with personally, very promptly, and politely. If there were six stars, I'd give them.

Ten years shows the quality, and longevity of their hats and how happy I am to return to the same makers. This latest hat had to be made bespoke due to my in-between-headsize; well worth the little extra time to wait for its arrival.
