AUSkagen watches are fake. I bought a Skagen watch at Phenix Jewellery in Perth sometime around June 2017 at a special price of about $200. Approximately six months later, the watch stopped and I had to return it for repair. This has happened three more times including in the past five months. I am tossing the item into a bin. It is disappointing that such a seemingly beautiful watch is effectively dysfunctional. Thank God I have kept my Lorus watch bought for me by my ex wife back in 2007 for under $100 New Zealand. I have only ever changed its batteries and never had it repaired, even as I have swam with it in the ocean countless times. Skagen watches are deceptive. They are not worth their looks. It is all fake and heartaches. Stay way away from them.

GBSkagen watch in for repair 3 times in 5 years… Skagen watch in for repair 3 times in 5 years. Replaced movement but movement failed again within 15 months of repair. Skagen's representative said that watch would be repaired free of charge or a replacement watch provided. This offer was rescinded after the watch was sent in for repair. They justified non repair on the basis that more than 6 months had lapsed since the previous repair. Can only strongly advise anyone looking to purchase Skagen to look elsewhere.

GBSkagen Falster 3 (watch)H Skagen Falster 3 (watch)H Huge problem... this is not even 2 years old from new.. it relies for charging on a magnetic contact to dual concentric ring on underside... Unfortunately those dual rings are glued on with some crap which melts at normal skin surface temperature. so... the rings make imperfect contact.. and eventually create even more heat... eventually the watch no longer even charges... Complete rubbish... avoid!

GBDeclining quality of Skagen watches My view is that the quality of Skagen watches has declined considerably. The Skagen watch purchased as a present for me by my partner three years ago was less than 18 months old when the internal parts had to be replaced. Two years later, the internal parts would have to be replaced again (the second hand keeps sticking). She and I won't be buying any more Skagen watches. My other Skagen watch is more than 12 years old and is still working satisfactorily.
