GBBe wary before placing an order Skagen are advertising items for sale that they are not always able to deliver. They admit that they are unable to track stock between warehouse and retail. They give no apology for this neither do they advise customers of this before they place orders. This results in customer frustrations that are seen on review websites. None that I have read are overstated. I wish I had read them first. Clearly a company suffering from underinvestment especially in customer service as it does not exist.

GBWatch not working - Poor comms. The watch arrived and it was not working. I contacted Skagen on 19 Oct 23. They told me to purchase a new battery and provide proof of purchase and they would reimburse me. After providing these details and following up on several occasions, I have still not been reimbursed for this amount. Communication with them has stagnated.

GBAppaling customer service Appaling customer service. Ordered a necklace, and got different style earrings instead. When complained, got told I need to send them back and wait 14 days for a refund. No attempt to rectify the situation or offer to send a replacement. Won't use again.

GBWish I could give them zero stars If I could give them zero stars I would. Totally unprofessional, shoddy and terrible at communication. They essentially stole money from me and never plan on giving it back. In the end my bank had to refund the money for a watch they they erroneously shipped to me, after they initially cancelled the order and I made other plans. It took months to get any info from them about the status of the return, and now they insist that the refund has been processed even though I can see no funds have been returned to me. I'll never ever shop from these people again. Bunch of unprofessional liars. I really hope someone reads this before purchasing from their online store and decides to shop elsewhere.

GBDeclining quality of Skagen watches My view is that the quality of Skagen watches has declined considerably. The Skagen watch purchased as a present for me by my partner three years ago was less than 18 months old when the internal parts had to be replaced. Two years later, the internal parts would have to be replaced again (the second hand keeps sticking). She and I won't be buying any more Skagen watches. My other Skagen watch is more than 12 years old and is still working satisfactorily.
