GBThey are so woke They are so woke. They clearly work for the dealers which will come back to haunt them as buyers are getting frustrated with using their website. I hate how the site: 1). Defaults to "Include long distance delivery" Only punk yuppies get used cars delivered to them. 2. The site tells me that it is a "Hot Car" and likely to sell within a week. Shut up! I didn't ask for your opinion. 3. Great deal, good deal, fair deal. Again, shut up! I didn't ask for your opinion. 4. Payments? Society is screwed because we are a debtor nation. Everyone would be much better off if we paid cash for everything. Just show the price.

GBScammers on auto trader Seller called ‘auto city trader’ in slough. Do not buy of them. One of many scammers on auto trader. Selling fully cars. I can’t believe there’s no regulations for these garagers or an organisation who deals with this and actually takes this seriously. I bought a car from this dealer listed on auto trader, car was so faulty should not have passed mot. Mot was fraudulent and done by his mate, gearbox was wired incorrectly parts fitted incorrectly just dont even bother looking on auto trader better to try AA approved cars

GBExpensive and lots of scammers Paid for a (very expensive!) advert and immediately received a spam call from someone with a thick Indian accent trying to buy a vauxhall Corsa, then a Ford Kuga ( I'm seeling a Volkswagen!) This is before I received confirmation the advert had even gone live.

GBNot worth the fee This platform is no longer useful for private car sales. I recently sold 2 cars, one at £2k one at £20k, I paid £50 each time to Autotrader but got no enquiries from private buyers, only traders, despite marketing the cars at lower than their recommended price. In the end I sold the cheap one through Facebook and the other through a trading site. Don’t bother using Autotrader these days, it’s not worth the fee.

GBWithin hours of placing my ad I… Within hours of placing my ad I received 2 responses from people who were already “flagged” by Autotrader for suspicious activity, why are they still allowed access to the ads? The third response came directly from Autotrader in the form of a “direct buy” from them for less than half my asking price. The whole thing is a joke, a joke that cost me $49 which they refused to cancel the ad and give me a refund. Won’t happen again
