Great sleeping bags and great service. Great sleeping bags at a fantastic price. We were heading out to visit the newest national park, New River Gorge in WV and Alpenglow got the sleeping bags to us the Saturday before we left. Great service.

Hard-to-find adze This was the only online store where I could find a specific adze for an older model axe. Shipping was quick. They also included a few Alpenglow stickers, which I really appreciated.

Slow shipping, low inventory, terrible UI Shipping time was slow (2 weeks to receive), and the website is simply unusable. I've never seen a less usable search feature, and the item tagging is super inconsistent and not helpful (e.g.: when searching for a headlamp, using the tag "bright" returns a bunch of things that aren't related to headlamps). Consequently, your only real option to find what your looking for is to scroll through their entire inventory. I would give 1 star except they're a small business and likely don't have a ton of money to invest in technology, and because despite the terrible website they gave a 40% discount coupon which "saved" me money on gear I would not otherwise have purchased.

Love Celeste Love Celeste! Did a half-day climbing and learning to set up anchors, cams, and some lead climbing basics one-on-one. Celeste slowed down and re-explained things when requested, enthusiastically answered questions, and was an excellent climbing partner. She is very knowledgeable and loves the mechanics! I also found the folks working in the store / for booking my climb to be very helpful and friendly.
