I had a better opinion I had a better opinion about this store, but now I have changed my point of view. Prices are high, quality of goods is very poor

So this review disappeared before I… So this review disappeared before I finished. I made an appointment at your grooming salon where I have always taken my dogs. This was a new dog I had just taken as a rehomed dog. The groomer mentioned when I picked him up that he had a pretty bad dry skin condition. I checked with his vet. on our next appointment. I purchased the shampoos he said I should use but when I took him in they wanted 10.00 extra for using our own vet recommended product what kind of customer service is that? Does it take more time to do that. Is that just an xtra way to make more money That will be my last appointment and believe me I will spread the word to all my friends with dogs

Worse than BAD We took our Shih Tsu to the PetSmart store in Tempe, AZ on 2/16/24 and will never put him through that horror story again! Like many other reviewers, we would give ZERO stars if we could. The groomer did a horrible, unprofessional job. For starters, she failed to completely rinse the shampoo from his coat, which caused extreme itching for several days. She also burned his stomach with a hot razor —and worst of all- cut his lower eyelid which got infected and swollen. After 2 days we took him to our vet who prescribed two medications for the itching and the eye infection and put a hood around his head. Total bill with vet follow-up was over $400. All this information (and documentation) was sent to the PetSmart corporate office in Phoenix by the store manager. Never heard a word back from anyone at their corporate office — not even a “WE’RE SORRY” we treated your dog so badly. They just don’t care!

DO NOT USE AGORA TEXAS GROOMING SALON PETSMART… DO NOT USE THE GROOMING SALON PETSMART IN AGORA/SELMA TEXAS! SCHNAUZERS ESPECIALLY! 2 employees were verbally passive aggressive to let me know my schnauzer was not wanted there anymore. Quote "lets tell the truth here" and "we may not groom him anymore." My pup does not like his ears done, so as I have said before, DONT DO THEM. Been using PetSmart 15 years, 3 schnauzers. THIS LOCATION HORRIBLE. Dont worry Agora Grooming Salon, the mighty Thor will NOT grace your doors again...

If your dog is not the Mother Teresa of animals, don't waste your gas money coming out here. I made an appointment to come in on 4/21/24 to have my 6 month old puppy groomed. The groomer was working on a dog when we got there. Poor dog looked like it was skinned alive. It was a white dog and I saw places where it was cut way too close. I was given so many excuses as to why they could not groom my dog. The first thing the groomer says is we can take our dog somewhere else. This gives me the impression she really did not want to groom a Shih Tzu. She said it would be extra money for extra hands. Then she says no body is going to be able to do it for the entire cut. She gets the clippers out to see if my dog would be afraid. When my pup did not respond negatively to the sound of the clippers, then it was she has to be able to stand up the entire time. Yet you see pictures of animals that are siting down on their web advertisements. We can trim her face but we would have to see how she responds first. Well she may not like the sound of the dryers in the back. One damn excuse after another. My dog gets a bath every two weeks, blow dried and her nails clipped every month. She doesn't flinch. You have to comb out the mats first. PetSmart has so many one star reviews it ridiculous. No concern for how far we had to travel in the rain. All that BS should have been ironed out before we came out. The worst place ever. I don't know how they stay in business. I am contacting the corporate office ASAP.
