OptiBike Review Many years ago my sister blessed me with my first Optibike it was used a 2009 to be exact. It arrived in around two weeks from purchasing date. When it did I was unfamiliar with it and broke the chin almost instantly. I call in and they sent me not only the chain but also the sprocket set for free however he did tell me to take it a little easier on it and i did. It served me well for many years riding it from full charge which at the time was about 50 miles. I have recently ordered another one that battery is over 300 miles. I have done my research and in my studies I have not found another EBike that goes as far or preforms anything close to it. Costumer service is always very polite and informative. The owner that I have talked to many times he is actually getting ready to send me his personal bike right now with the 300+ battery on it to save me alittle money and a respect that very much and it is very rare especially this day in time. God Bless everyone there they are doing a great job and I personally would not change a thing. LoVe Always, Brother Bruce Dunkin

The Optibike Argon is an awesome e-bike Optibike is focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and amazing customer service. I purchased this bike after many hours of general research and after narrowing it down to the Argon, a few Q&A sessions with Jim Turner himself locked in our decision. My wife is completely satisfied with her new bike as it allows her to ride more with me on longer/faster rides. I feel the reason the Argon works for us is that we had a clear picture of how we expected to use it. Our expectations were to focus on the e-assist capability; the weight and battery capacity were major factors in our decision as well. The standard features Jim included in the build increased the value to us after really comparing what we saw at the same price point elsewhere. We live in South Mississippi, mainly flat with some rolling hills, super hot and humid though. I can say so far the battery has lived up to our expectations. Here's a good example, after a full charge we went on two 32 mile rides, after the last ride, the display showed 4/5 bars on the charge with 62 miles on the odometer. We were averaging 17.5mph and she varied the assist from 1-3 depending on the grade. She loves the fact she is riding faster, her technique is transitioning to spinning more, she loves the fact the Argon is allowing her to ride more and as she said, "who doesn't want to burn more calories". Highly recommend the Argon from Optibike.

Top-of-line, high-powered e-bike; with room for even greater innovation Pro's: Powerful and fast, sturdy and well-built (in USA) with high quality parts; good range and great hill-climbing ability; friendly, excellent and responsive service and back-up (Thanks, Jim!); 8 years and still running strong! Con's: can be unstable due to slightly high center of gravity (R15, especially if using range-extending 2nd battery off seat stem tube); gearing seems too low on my model, for my use and comfort, which makes it difficult to pedal (and work-out) when using power assist at faster speeds (a higher/wider gear range would add more versatility).

Best electric bike ever Best electric bike ever, love it , it’s 1st a real mountain bike, with proper suspension, it looks spaceage , reliable, yet it’s also the fastest and most powerful bike , that looks like a bike.

Close, but not quite Bought a used (previously returned) Optibike. It arrived at my house expertly packaged, but lacking sufficient assembly and instruction manuals to make things easy. Over time, I learned how the bike worked (Rohloff hub and proprietary motor/battery), but it never seemed “quite right” to me. Eventually, after quite a few tests and collaboration with Jim Turner (owner: Optibike), I decided to return it. I remain optimistic and enthusiastic about Optibike, yet disappointed this one didn’t work well for me.
