GBEric’s Coon Rapids-Terrible service and knowledge My wife and I were planning to buy Electic assisted bikes today. We went to many different retailers and evaluated options. I was so disappointed with Eric’s in Coon Rapids, all the advertising in the world can not out-weight being treated like crap by a salesperson who did not know their Products. Saturday 8/8, 2:00, young man who was abrasive and rude. Let it be known we did purchase 2 bikes for $6K at Ramsey Cycle, where they were friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! Steer clear of Eric’s, seems like they spend their money on advertising not quality, knowledgeable employees and customer service.

GBFalse advertising Advertised a bike on line that clearly said $49 shipping. When I called to buy it thay said it had to be in store pick up only. They said they had no idea why it quoted shipping. Bike was a 2 yr old leftover. You want to sell the bike or not? It's a bike shop, sell and ship all the time. Ive worked in a bike shop, its not harfd. To me it's false advertising. Seems they are too big and customer service suffers as a result.

GBCRAPPY service, CLUELESS manager I called my local Erik's to get a tire that was listed as in stock at a different Erik's location and on the manufacturer's website. They said it would take a month or two to get in. No problem since I was putting that bike away for the season. It ended up taking OVER SEVEN MONTHS, six phone calls, and ten emails to get a stupid tire. The worst thing is that they offered not even a single word of apology, no acknowledgment whatsoever that they had completely failed to deliver on their promise. I spend a LOT of money on bikes and parts, but I'm never again going to spend any of that money at Erik's.

GBSecond purchase from Erik’s bike shop… Second purchase from Erik’s bike shop and second time-shame on me. I just received the bike, second bike to come in damage. FYI all bikes are “floor models” which mean they are assembled and disassembled to be sent out when purchased. This means they can be scratched, used in the parking lot, and then sent out to unknowing customers. And they offer little none exchanges or returns. Brand new se bike just received by fedex today, pedal crank is stripped and they do not want to hear this. DO NOT ORDER from them!!

GBSlow and over-priced delivery I placed an order for a helmet on 11/6, but didn't receive it until 11/21. I think that's far too long in this day and age of fast deliveries. Also, I was charged $18.56 for shipping for a box that allegedly weighed "6 lbs", but there's no way the box weighed more than 2. Definitely feel like I got taken advantage of on shipping fees and am frustrated about the incredibly slow delivery. Doubt I'll order from Erik's again!
