Never Again In my opinion, this is the worst company I’ve every dealt with. I usually don’t even do these online reviews. Erik’s Bike Shop has the worst communication I’ve ever experienced; they couldn’t seem to e-mail me back or answer any of my calls. Now when I get my mid-grade product I have to pay nearly half the price I payed for the bike, for shipping. I have no intention from ever buying from this company or even possibly recommending to a potential buyer. If one even mentions this company I would strongly urge that they reconsider that option. Humbly.

From lies to lack of communication and still no shipping I talked with someone on their online chat on May 5 and was told the item I was ordering was in stock, with 6 available, and orders were being processed and shipped in about 2 days. On May 10, I received an email response to an inquiry saying my order would ship the coming week. My order still has not shipped, and I am getting absolutely no responses to my emails. So they’re not being upfront about their processing time and not being responsive to emails. This is extremely frustrating. They’re taking business away from other small businesses and then not fulfilling the orders, and they’re stringing costumers along. I highly recommend you avoid ordering from Erik’s.

Unacceptable behavior from the manager! Not cool! Sorry, not sure, MAYBE SHE WAS HAVING A BAD DAY???

Slow and over-priced delivery I placed an order for a helmet on 11/6, but didn't receive it until 11/21. I think that's far too long in this day and age of fast deliveries. Also, I was charged $18.56 for shipping for a box that allegedly weighed "6 lbs", but there's no way the box weighed more than 2. Definitely feel like I got taken advantage of on shipping fees and am frustrated about the incredibly slow delivery. Doubt I'll order from Erik's again!

Ugh! they claim to carry the most bikes in the usa (nothing that i would want). it would be nice for a “local” bike shop help to carry at least a 80mm presta valve for a 25mm tire and better yet a salesman other than a kid who actually knows whether or not what he gave me doesn’t fit until i showed him their teenage mechanics are -fly -by -nights and when i finally found one after who knows something he quits in 5 months he figured it it out erik’s is a shop who just happens to sell bicycles like walmart and that’s being kind
