Quick to charge credit card, but no delivery! I ordered a close-out ebike off Erik's website on December 14. The ad and the confirmation said the bike would be delivered 12/24. No scanning or tracking information with FedEx, and nothing delivered as of today 12/30. Chat with Erik's (Liz) was useless - she bitched that "we are doing the best we can." Two more electronic contacts have gone unanswered, but ERik's was quick to charge my credit card for the purchase! Wake up Erik. The charge won't be paid unless the bike arrives before payment is due.

Slow and over-priced delivery I placed an order for a helmet on 11/6, but didn't receive it until 11/21. I think that's far too long in this day and age of fast deliveries. Also, I was charged $18.56 for shipping for a box that allegedly weighed "6 lbs", but there's no way the box weighed more than 2. Definitely feel like I got taken advantage of on shipping fees and am frustrated about the incredibly slow delivery. Doubt I'll order from Erik's again!

West Des Moines Store ~ the manager… West Des Moines Store ~ the manager there was the rudest lady/kid lacking service I have ever met - I'm posting on all military and veterans/Gov sites I belong to NOT NOT GO THERE!!!! Unacceptable behavior from the manager! Not cool! Sorry, not sure, MAYBE SHE WAS HAVING A BAD DAY???

Eric’s Coon Rapids-Terrible service and knowledge My wife and I were planning to buy Electic assisted bikes today. We went to many different retailers and evaluated options. I was so disappointed with Eric’s in Coon Rapids, all the advertising in the world can not out-weight being treated like crap by a salesperson who did not know their Products. Saturday 8/8, 2:00, young man who was abrasive and rude. Let it be known we did purchase 2 bikes for $6K at Ramsey Cycle, where they were friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! Steer clear of Eric’s, seems like they spend their money on advertising not quality, knowledgeable employees and customer service.

Beware, you may be shipped an open box or used item that's advertised as new and unopened I ordered a new and unopened item to give as a gift. I expected it to be new in box and sealed. The item I received has a dirty box with broken seals. Inside of the box, items have been opened, unwrapped, and are missing original packaging. I contacted support and they stated that the item may have been in a display case prior to repackaging it and shipping it to me. I'm not sure why the cords would have been unpacked and unwrapped if this was only in a display case and never used, but it's possible. UPDATE: Upon using the item, it is clear that it was used and returned, since the item was not even reset to its factory state. In any case, stores generally sell open box, demoed, or returned items at a discount. I did not order an open box item. I ordered a new and unopened item to avoid any concerns that go along with an open box item. Additionally, it is difficult to gift an opened package with a dirty box, whether it's been returned or not. Erik's offered to accept a return for the item, but support did imply they often ship open box items as new without warning. Consumers should be aware of this policy.
