GBI was forced… I went in to clear my head I was forced to sign a negligible contract agreement with no formal understanding I haven't even used the gym and I can't cancel in under 30 days without having to pay 54.00 dollars they are crooks they don't care even if they have a great looking facility its because they steal money thru manipulation. Less than 2 weeks

GBVasa Fitness on West 38th street Vasa Fitness on West 38th street. It is an unsafe environment. People carry guns there and the staff doesn’t do anything about this. They allow arguments to happen that has resulted in people being shot.

GBI was charged the annual membership fee… I was charged the annual membership fee and a monthly fee. I agreed to pay the monthly fee while I took a pause after two years of being a member. I asked for the annual membership fee to be returned since I would not be using it. I called two phone numbers and no answer. I walked into the facility and was advised by the supervisor that she had no ability to address this. I was advised to e-mail which I did. It took 3 days for a negative response. They never talked with me in person. Then they charged me an additional monthly fee on 3-7-24 even after I canceled. They displayed poor communication and poor customer service to a dedicated, elderly member. I plan to expose them with better business, inc because of my experience and in the hopes that others do not have this same experience.

GBIts not worth your time money or health So to use just he weights to work out it's 9.99 a month cool, actually it's almost $13 a month after they add on 30% in extra fees. Heres my issue, I just go there to play basketball and nothing else. Recently my membership which is a basic membership didn't work to get inside the basketball court even though when I initially signed up in agent told me this will be fine to just play basketball. The customer service there told me I need to pay an additional 15 plus dollars to play basketball. I voice my opinion that they should come up with a membership that includes only basketball play since there's a membership that includes only using the weights, I tell one of the agents that and he keeps telling me they don't have that and I was telling him I know you don't I'm making a suggestion and he just wanted to fight me about it. I then said I need to cancel my membership immediately he then told me I have to do it through the app and in that process he gives me two ID numbers that I was unaware that I had with this company, then to cancel the membership I need to know exactly which debit or credit card I used the 3-digit security code and expiration date all of the above just to cancel the the membership, I advised to him who carries that information on them while they're in the gym, this company makes it very hard to cancel your membership. I then told him how about you cancel it for me, he proceeds to do so and then tells me I'm going to get an email and I have to click on the email and if I don't click on the email then the membership won't be canceled, I tell him I have not received an email yet he says wait one or two days, I'm guessing this company wants me to forget that I canceled the membership and maybe missed the email so that they can keep charging me money, this is underhanded tactic and buyers should be aware. Show the email finally came in and I click on it and it's basically the same thing that I did while I was there just a link to go through the whole process to confirm what card number and these special ID numbers that I need to cancel the membership. Essentially that guy didn't do anything but send me a link he didn't cancel anything , this is terrible. Unless you want bad service and higher than advertised prices go to Vasa.
