GBPlease avoid this company! Tried to keep 8.5k owed to us Please avoid this company! In my opinion they have behaved like absolute crooks and would have stolen my money if they could have gotten away with it. After several pleasant conversations with Mark Gilbert, we ordered a DIY menage kit. 5 days later my husband was made redundant so I advised the company we were sorry but needed to cancel, as per the 14 day cooling off period / consumer regulations. I wrote numerous times before Mark responded saying he had received my messages and would pass it on to HQ. Days went by and I didn’t hear anything so I chased this up and received this reply - “We are just waiting on the kit order as that is paid for by us on order and they attempted delivery last week but were told you were on holiday.” Basically after I’d cancelled, they’d attempted to get everything delivered to me asap, as if they thought this would make things difficult for me. This is despite all deliveries supposed to be being arranged with my contractor, who had heard nothing from them. I was still getting calls from delivery companies / subcontractors several weeks after I cancelled, asking when they could deliver. I asked them whether Carpet Gallop had told them we’d cancelled and they said no. By this point, Mark was ignoring emails and calls. On a couple of occasions, my husband rang them and was promised calls back which never happened. By this point we’d contacted our credit card provider (thank goodness we paid by credit card) who were investigating. They have now confirmed we have won and will get the money back. I see there are a few reviews like this, so beware of these despicable people. I have no idea what they thought would happen, but my opinion is they thought they would try to get away with the theft of 8.5k.

GBWe had a canter track put in end of… We had a canter track put in end of October using Carpet Gallop and I can't thank them enough. The whole experience was just brilliant and their customer service was great and they answered any questions we had. The surface has been absolutely fantastic even in the -8 conditions we had for 10 days it didn't once freeze and we were able to ride on the track any time of the day during the cold spell which was amazing when trying to keep our event horses fit! I would highly recommend Carpet Gallop.

GBJust wanted to thank you for your… Just wanted to thank you for your fabulous surface I’ve been able to use it everyday and we’ve had frost to -10 !! It has stayed soft and usable !! It was also brilliant during the extremely hot summer and didn’t get deep or dusty !!! 👍

GB4 Years after installation We are 4 years in with our carpet gallop surface and this is the first winter we have had such fierce frosts. Our surface has proved invaluable and has not frozen once meaning we can exercise our horses without fear of accident or injury - its a big thumbs up from us - good value for money and exactly what was promised !!

GBAbsolutely awful experience with this… Absolutely awful experience with this company. Paid and agreed appropriate transport via a rigid lorry. Then got an email to say can we accommodate an articulated vehicle knowing full well that this was not possible given our access. I asked for an immediate refund only to be told this would take place within 5 working days. Then Mark Gilbert sent me a credit note not a refund which was incorrect as it did not show the payment received. Now not answering calls. Disgusting. Don't use this company unless you want to be scammed.
