First timer This was my first time renting a place and because of my experience i will def be back to use big bear cool cabins. I had MANY, MANY questions and their employees were very good about answering any and every question I had. The house was beautiful and lakeside; it was so calming and my family and I had an amazing time. The location was awesome and we decided we will be back!

Relaxing, But A Little Run-Down The overall experience was relaxing for the most part. But since you asked: The couch had animal hair all over it. I’m allergic to dog and cat dander. Some items were broken: coffee table very wobbly and about to fall over, gas stove didn’t work, clock off the wall and sitting on the ledge of the jacuzzi tub. The tub was filling and we ran out of hot water. Charging $80 for fire wood to be delivered when you sell it for $10 in your rental office is a little steep, especially since you require guests to haul the trash in their car to a secondary location. The place just seemed a bit run down and neglected.

The proximity to the national forest… The proximity to the national forest was great. The fireplace was hidden by the foosball table. The hot tub was great but did not look like the picture. The stairs to sleeping quarters were steep and this should be noted in the advertisement

What a place! The three cubs cabin was a really beautiful place that was recommended to us by the cool cabins. They really near the inventory of places and that was very helpful. They made a few recommendations for activities as well and we really appreciate that the process was very smooth without a hitch, we would work together with cool cabins again hopefully soon . Last minute trip This was a last minute reservation and Cool Cabins was super responsive and very helpful in making it happen. It was the first time I booked through them and they addressed all of my concerns and questions and provided a seamless process. The cabin was as advertised and worked perfect for our trip. We chose not do any add-ons bc they are expensive and you can grab all that yourself. It snowed while we were there and service came out the next morning and cleared the driveway, big bonus!
