GBRelaxing, But A Little Run-Down The overall experience was relaxing for the most part. But since you asked: The couch had animal hair all over it. I’m allergic to dog and cat dander. Some items were broken: coffee table very wobbly and about to fall over, gas stove didn’t work, clock off the wall and sitting on the ledge of the jacuzzi tub. The tub was filling and we ran out of hot water. Charging $80 for fire wood to be delivered when you sell it for $10 in your rental office is a little steep, especially since you require guests to haul the trash in their car to a secondary location. The place just seemed a bit run down and neglected.

GBWe came up to big bear for a family… We came up to big bear for a family gathering. We arrived late in the middle of the 3am the next day of our check in date. We signed our contract online and we were able to get access to the lock box code. Avoiding having to go to the office in the middle of the night to pick up keys. Staff was amazing. We needed extra dish soap and it was brought to us. We stayed at Casa Bella. Very nice and clean cabin that was big enough for our family.

GBDisappointed Disappointed - not sure when was the last time to wash the bed sheet. There were hair (?) on the bed, smell so bad. The dishes were uncleaned. Towels were not cleaned.

GBComfortable Cabin with Modern Features & Scenery Cool Cabins was the best choice for my vacation. I avoided the institutional box hotels/resorts and the densely packed cookie-cutter mini-cabins. My unique rustic-looking cabin was spacious, clean, had modern features, and a large tree-shaded backyard 50 feet from Big Bear Lake with mountains in the background. Can't get better than that.
