My family and I rented the Boulder Bay… My family and I rented the Boulder Bay Bungalow for my daughter’s golden, birthday. This was the first time renting from Big Bear Cool Cabins, and it was worth it! :) The pictures provided don’t give the actual rental justice, because our cabin is gorgeous! Everything you couldn’t pack was fully stocked at the cabin. From towels to blankets, kitchen appliances and cookware, toilet paper and hair dryer, family games and the game room and being pet friendly. Considering the time I booked, to the dates I wanted to reserve, the price was unbeatable. And the insurance is affordable and worth it. The amenities they have to offer are a must. There’s shopping close by, but to have your groceries already stocked, prior to arrival is one less task to stress about. My family and I would definitely make visiting Big Bear and renting from the Cool Cabins an annual family trip from now on. Thank you to all who made our vacation so memorable!

Cool Cabins are wonderful Cool Cabins are wonderful to work with. The cabin was great, the directions getting there were easy to follow and the check in/out process was a breeze. Luigi provided great customer service!

Nice but needs some updating Check in and out was good. Porch was great. Some issues inside: oven chemical smell when used, screwy toaster, bed linens wrong size, some nails could be felt under carpet in bare feet. Definitely a cozy experience but it was one of the cheapest we found so understandable. Nice market within walking distance which was great. Neighborhood is pleasant.

First timer This was my first time renting a place and because of my experience i will def be back to use big bear cool cabins. I had MANY, MANY questions and their employees were very good about answering any and every question I had. The house was beautiful and lakeside; it was so calming and my family and I had an amazing time. The location was awesome and we decided we will be back!

Last minute trip This was a last minute reservation and Cool Cabins was super responsive and very helpful in making it happen. It was the first time I booked through them and they addressed all of my concerns and questions and provided a seamless process. The cabin was as advertised and worked perfect for our trip. We chose not do any add-ons bc they are expensive and you can grab all that yourself. It snowed while we were there and service came out the next morning and cleared the driveway, big bonus!
